Please help me, Serious Eats!
I am a long-time SE reader, way back to the days when it was Robyn, Kenji, Adam, and Max, as well as Overlord Ed. Serious Eats has always produced interesting, new, thoroughly explained, and reliable recipes. This is why it gained popularity and remains popular.
Sadly, my browsing joys and culinary dreams, as delivered by Serious Eats, are at a standstill, and I hope, not the end.
I went to look at Serious Eats earlier today and found an obstruction to logging in. You demanded that I allow ads and disable my AdBlock. I tried this multiple times. My AdBlock light went off, but yet I was unable to access any of the content on the site.
Guys, if you want to do something like this, can't you notify your loyal readership in advance?
I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to access your site again, given its inability to recognize that I've suspended my AdBlock for the Serious Eats site.
What do I need to do to get back on the site?
Or is this the end?
I wish that I would have printed off a few of your best recipes before it came to this.
Is there anything I can do? As mentioned above, I've turned off AdBlock a couple of times. And why have you suddenly become so grabby for advertising (sorry).
Sincerely, your long-time reader,
Jane Ormrod

Preferred solution: To be able to access the site!! I can't get around your AdBlock, even when I disable mine.
