1SEO? No!

I would have to agree with the above review. I never heard from the salesman again after he "closed" me. The guy handling my account BSd me for months before I found out he was fired and didn't do anything he said he would. The next one was better and everyone seemed to want to make it right but they disappeared pretty quickly too. Communication was quite poor and many of my emails went unanswered. The really dropped the ball with the PPC ads as well. I was really scammed by my last company as well so I can't really believe I have such bad luck. I'm about to make a change again, praying the entire time for an honest man (or woman). They seem to be full of themselves and maybe take on too many clients. There's definitely some dysfunction there.

SEO Direct provides cheap and poor work for high price

Over my years as a business owner, I have never run into such a sketchy company that initially appeared as a legitimate enterprise. I first approached SEO Direct in need of a business to institute on-site optimization, keyword analysis and link building for my website. After watching some of my competitors outperform me, I realized it was because they were generating more closes from the Internet than I was. I discussed this with some friends who recommended "search engine optimization" as the solution and subsequently found SEO Direct online. I must admit that while the sales person was nice at the start of the relationship, it seemed like there was a serious disconnect between his recommendations for my site and the issues that my business needed to resolve. I often had to explain the same things over and over again before I felt that the concepts had sunken in. Simply reaching a point where the real work could begin was an arduous process that sapped a lot of time and energy (and money) away from me and my company. Once work finally began, I decided to take a hands-off approach and hoped that they would redeem themselves and do some good work for me.Friends had also warned me not to expect quick results, because SEO can take a few months before its effects are noticeable. However, I went THREE WHOLE MONTHS and only received to emails from SEO Direct that each reeked of BS. At this point I wanted to talk with the sales-person responsible for my site but found that he no longer was with the company and my account was being handled by someone I had never talked too who probably had no idea what my project specs were. I then tried to break of the relationship, but this too took a lot of time because they seemed to ignore my messages. This experience was the worst one I have ever encountered when it comes to dealing with another company, so I advise everyone to steer clear of this shady business.
