Sentinel Field Services - The Pay they are offering for Inspections

They sent at emails asking for vendors to perform interior and exterior inspections. The fees are $10.00 to $35.00 Dollars. I will not even start my car up for these fees. I declined to work for this company.

Exterior $10.00

Interior/Exterior $15.00

Loss Draft $35.00

These companies thing we as contractors are desperate. We are the ones out in the fields doing the work, wear and tear on our cars. This will not even pay the bills. They get richer and we go to the poor house. Apparently they have run all of their contractors away and now are looking for other people to fill in the gaps. This forum allow us to vent and let others know to beware

Non payment

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I pay a lot of taxes and fees from my company and insurance, why am I going to stick my hand in a dirty toilet for free. Seems like every property that we go into the toilet has been used even though the property is always vacant.

They also promise they will pay an amount and do not. We shoveled 26" of snow for only $35 per property....not what we were promised at all.

The invoices and work orders are so confusing to read that you never know what you're getting paid and you not you never know with that work order was for. Get out while you still can!

Sentinel Field Services cuts your pay

Same for me started out great with the company and then they start finding ways to cut your pay by nit picking. They have you do the work then say the pay is "reduced because" excuse.

If you don't mind working for a company that nickles and dimes you every time you do the job then this is the place for you.

If not run as fast as you can because the cost of doing the job will exceed the amount they pay you. Don't stand up for what is right because they will can you from their program even faster!

Sentinel Field Services Does Not Pay Its Vendors

Sentinel Field Services is a REO company that currently has the contract in many states for FNMA properties. At first they were good to work for.

A few months ago the employees started becoming condescending towards their vendors. Next, Sentinel stopped paying its vendors correctly for the work that they completed. The company has many excuses, but has not been paying it vendors for the work they complete. Of course, the vendors find this out six weeks after they have completed the work.

This is a shameful way for them to treat the people that are on the ground completing the actual work.

Their vendors are why they are in business. I wonder how FNMA would feel if it knew how Sentinel actually conducted business on its assets.

the so called property specialists have very poor communication skills. they never own up to their mistakes and blame the vendor. upper management always sides with the property specialists and then your blackballed, and then your on their trouble maker vendor lists and they make up things to have reasons to fire you

Non Payment of services rendered

Our company was contracted by Sentinel Field Services to perform driveway plowing, house cleanouts, winterizations and other work. After working for them for 2 months we have received only $ 3000.00 of the $8500.00 owed to us.

We met all their picture requirements, performed all work in a timely manner and have been told by sentinel they reserve the right to do what is fair. This is a BS excuse to not pay a contractor. Their lack of payment has caused financial harm to our company as well as 4 contractors who performed the work for us. We have contacted the Utah Attorney generals office as well as the internet fraud department and Fannie mae and Freddie mac as these properties were all government funded properties.

We are in the process of filing liens on the properties as well as starting a case for Fraud against Sentinel Field Services for non payment on services solicited over the internet. They are not going to get away with stiffing hard working people out of the money owed to them.

We have been having similar issues of nonpayment. I would like to help you get the word out to protect other contractors.

I had the same issue with them, and they are saying that the make you sign a contract where it says that cannot file a lien on a property. have anybody has any information about that

File the lien anyways. If that same contract has been breached by Sentinel. Then let the court settle it.
