Buyer beware of companies saying that they are 100% Australian owned and are more expensive than overseas companies when really the items come from China and can be bought on Temu for a fraction of the price. The customer service is absolutely shocking. No contact phone number for an Australian company and the response takes days/weeks.They offer a 30-day return but do not honour that.

Sensory Toys boast being 100% Australian owned and guaranteed delivery by 23/12/25. I thought the toys were located within Australia as they were costly so I placed 2 orders on 02/12/25 which arrived in dribs & drabs and came from China.

The last half of the order arrived 28/12/25 after Xmas. Had I known the toys were coming from China I would have ordered through Temu at a third of the price. It ruined my Xmas as I had to run around on the 24/12 buying toys. They were non-responsive to email requests asking how to return the goods for a refund and was told they do not do refunds.

In the end they offered 30% refund and I said Ill accept the 30% only to find I got the 30% on 1 item only.

This has been so stressful & ruined the joy of buying Xmas gifts for 3 & 4 years olds. I have lodged a complaint with PayPal to get a full refund and also the false advertising about being 100% Australian owned
Loss:
$298
Cons:
  • Do not honour their 30 day refund policy

Preferred solution: Full refund
