AI Highlights
  • Installation was by a firm 150 miles away, and the warranty was misrepresented.
  • The tub is poorly designed for older users and the door is hard to close.

I bought a jacuzzi walk in tub from this company The salesman did not inform me that installation would be done by a firm located 150:miles from where I live and would not be availablefor repairs or backup. The jacuzzi itself is very poorly designed, especially for an older person.

A user cannot be immersed while seated in the tub. When filled, the water comes up to the waist leaving the occupant wet and chilled from the waist up. The door opens inward and can barely get past me to close. I am not a large person and cannot imagine how larger people manage to get in and close the door.

I feel this product was misrepresented. The tub was supposed to carry a lifetime warranty, but when the hose to the hand-held shower broke after two years of use by only one person, Jacuzzi sent a replacement but I had to pay for the repair. It was very difficult finding a repair service in my locality because it could only be done by a whirlpool/spa specialist. The person who did repair it said it was a difficult job because the parts were so hard to reach.

He had to locate a special wrench and borrow it in order to do the job, He also said it was likely that the new hose will need to be replaced every couple of years.

I was misled by the salesman about the warranty, the benefits of the tub and the ease of maintenance. I do not recommend this firm or this product.

Easy Climber Chair Lift

AI Highlights
  • Product broke down four times in three months.
  • Repairs take long; they want a refund and removal, and say it is not worth $6,495.

We are very dissatisfied with this product. It has broken down 4 times in

the 3 mos. we have had this. The co. fixes it, but it takes so much time as

they are coming from Maine. We just want it removed as we feel it is a very

poor product and not worth $6495.00! We don't feel that we should be

forced to keep a product that is so poorly made! I hope that someone can

help us. I previously sent a message about this. My question is: Is there

a number of break downs before the company is forced to render a refund?

Wouldn't this fall under the Consumer Protection Law? We just want a refund and not have to deal with this any longer. It broke down on 8/19/16.

They fixed it on 8/26/16. How long before it breaks down again? Enough!!

  • The Easy Climber has broken down four times and repairs take a week.
  • The owner refuses a return and the Additional Terms weren’t disclosed.

My husband purchased an Easy Climber on 4/20/16. Received 5/25/16.

It has broken down 4 times! The Co. Fixes it, but they come from Maine!

This last time it took a week. This chair has been broken down more then

it's worked! We are very unhappy but the owner refuses to let us return it.

"Please" read the back side of the contract before you sign it! We were not

made aware of the Additional Terms & Conditions, before my husband

signed the contract! It basically robs you of all your rights, if you get a

lemon like we did! We feel like this was fraud by omission! Be careful!

Never again would we do business with Steve Borgia, owner of Easy

Climber..We are senior citizens and should not be treated this way. Where

is our Consumer Protection? My husband is 78 & I am almost 70. We

should not be treated this way!
