Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. All repairs were done free of charge after I contacted the Attorney Generals office.
On October 29th, I contacted Parker and Sons regarding an issue with my air conditioning unit. Their technician diagnosed that the blower motor needed replacement and provided a quote.
Seeking a second opinion, I called Semper Fi Heating and Cooling, and their technician visited the same day. After inspecting the unit, he confirmed that both the blower motor and the condenser motor needed replacement. I agreed to the quoted price.
Later, the Semper Fi technician informed me that the parts were under warranty. He returned on October 30th to replace the parts but, after spending over an hour on the roof, he halted the work, claiming there was wire damage and blaming Parker and Sons for the cut wires.
I contacted Parker and Sons, who disagreed and provided video and pictures showing the fan was operational during their last check. The initial Semper Fi technician had not mentioned any cut wires or issues with the fan.
I later learned that the fan could not have been operational if the wires were cut at that time. I spoke with the manager of Semper Fi, forwarding her the evidence from Parker and Sons. On October 31st, the manager called to inform me that Semper Fi would not repair the wires, citing an invoice from their initial technician stating the wires were cut during his first visit.
She insisted that Parker and Sons were responsible for the wire repair.
I paid Semper Fi a $600 deposit, which has not been refunded, and they still have the warranty parts. This situation affects my 94-year-old mother, who has dementia and has lived in her home for 60 years. She is also a widow of a Navy veteran who served for over 30 years. As a local business owner and veteran advocate, I hope Jesse, the owner of Semper Fi, will address this issue promptly and demonstrate his support for the veteran community.
We need Semper Fi to take responsibility and resolve this matter.
