- - Financed a 2020 Cascadia from SelecTrucks Fort Worth; paid $15k for warranty; recurring rain-related ABS/sensor failures with warranty denial.
I financed a 2020 Cascadia with 530000 miles for around $55000 at SelecTrucks Fort Worth right there on the Premier Freightliner Fort Worth Texas lot. I paid $15000 for a SelecTrucks warranty.
My problems began immediately. Everytime it rained I'd get ABS, Cruise Control, Sway Control, Assisted Breaking lights. The code was for speed sensor F. This was all experienced my first few trips.
I just gave all my money for down payment. It became obvious the truck was not prepped properly for sale. I have taken truck in for ABS light problem. The codes didn't store.
They disappear when not raining or ignition turned off. End of 2024 I'm able to pay truck off. Altogether I spent $82000. At this point I had my own freight authority.
First load after payoff truck breaks down. Tow it to Lonestar Abilene. They tell me warranty won't cover work. I pay them $3200.
Drive truck 5 miles and it breaks down from same problem. I wind up taking truck to Premier Fort Worth where it came from. Pay $4900. Drive truck roughly 3000 miles and ABS/speed sensor problem kicks in causing transmission problems same as before.
Why did they let this truck leave their lot in this condition? My livelihood, my life savings, any present or future earnings are gone. My life is over because SelecTrucks Fort Worth see's me as some kind of subhuman. This is outrageously immoral, unethical, and deceptive.
My life should not be in this turmoil. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!
