My personal review.

I can tell you this was the worst car buying experience I have ever been involved in. Customer service is extremely bad on all levels.

Do yourself a favor and do your research on this place. GOOGLE them and read the reviews on them. Check the BBB and read the complaints on them. $4811.00 down the drain and still dumping money into the car.

So buy at your own risk or be taken for the ride of your life. You will never get your moneys worth out of any car on their lot that is for sure.

Never buy a vehicle here! We purchased our car in April 2012.

It never ran right and was returned to them several times during May. They never could fix it, refused to return our money, and refused to contact us after that. We filed with the NYS Attorney General thru the NYS Lemon Law. We went to arbitration and were awarded the decision for the return of our money, and they still refused to return our money!

8 MONTHS AFTER PURCHASING THE CAR, we finally received a check from them on November 26, 2012 – AND ONLY AFTER WE HAD CONTACTED THE NYS DMV and the day before the DMV was to suspend Select MotorCars’ dealers’ license for failure to pay our award! We have called them to arrange for the return of the car to them, and they refuse to talk to us or contact us.

AND, they still have refused to pay the required $500.00 penalty, required by the Lemon Law, for failure to pay the award within 30 days of notification of our acceptance of the decision. We now have filed a small claims in small claims court to recover this amount.

I bought a van from SELECT MOTOR CARS IN BINGHAMPTON NY and it broke down twice on the way home from buying it.Had it towed the first time and their remedy to fix it was an oil change.Second time I had it towed to a local shop that knows what they are doing and the motor is pulled out waiting for the owner of the car dealership JOE to authorize the repair because it still falls under the NYS lemon law.The van is *** just like the dealership that sold it to me the engine is shot.It's been almost 1 month and I still don't have a van or my money back which is what I want.There is alot more to this story and have pics of the engine pulled apart showing the sludge inside of it.STAY AWAY FROM SELECT MOTOR CARS IN BINGHAMTON NY, DRIVE BY AND FIND A REAL DEALERSHIP WITH QUALITY CARS I would't wish what I'm going through on my worst enemy.PLEASE STAY AWAY

OWNERS SOLD A VEHICLE THAT LEGALLY DIDNT PASS A NYS REQUIRED INSPECTION. FAUGHT WITH ME TOOTH AND NAIL FOR 2 MONTHS TO FIX/PAY FOR NECESSARY REPAIRS FOR THE CAR TO BE LEGAL TO DRIVE.

HORRIBLY UNPROFFESSIONAL TO DEAL WITH. AVOIDED PHONE CALLS AND EMAILS . FINALLY WHEN GETTING THROUGH THE DIMEANER WAS NOTHING BUT RUDE WITH A HARSH ATTITUDE. i HAD TO PAY $89.99 TWO SEPERATE TIMES AT A HONDA CERTIFIED DEALER TO HAVE TH PROBLEM PROVEN AND DOCUMENTED BECAUSE SELECT MOTORS CLAIMED THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG THEY CALLED IT A " PHANTOM NOISE" THE NOISE WAS DUE TO BOTH FRONT CONTROL ARMS, BREAKS, BALL JOINTS NEEDING TO BE REPLACED.

tHE VEHICLE ALSO NEEDED AN ALLIGNMENT BECAUSE THE TIRES HAD BOWED OUT SO MUCH FROM THE IMPROPER RUBBING THAT TOOK PLACE FROM THE CONTROL ARMS BEING DESTROYED.

AFTER FIGHTING AND THREATENING TO TAKE THEM TO COURT THEY PAID FOR LESS THAN HALF OF THE TOTAL COST TO MAKE THIS CAR SAFE. i AM STILL OUT $500.00 FROM MY OWN POCKET.
