Horrible
You would think after hundreds of 1 star reviews the company would reevaluate their way of doing business. I am another unhappy customer.
Was supposed to receive a call 1 hour prior. No call. Left instructions where to drop off, they didnt care.
They carelessly left my package in a place where it could get stolen. Didnt even call when they were there then said sorry we already left.

This company is a joke. Canceled 6 times...waited 3 months and eventually had to contract a local person to deliver and assembled an elliptical machine purchased from Dick's.

Verified Reviewer | Wappingers Falls, New YorkI Purchased a sofa from Home Sense in Mohegan. The truck arrived filthy.
The Manager would not release the sofa because of the dirt and moldy mattress inside the truck. Had to reschedule.
I called them many times to try to get a new date. People were polite but no help. Finally got a call from "Edgar", who apologized and offered a 25% discount for my inconvenience. Never got it!!
I called several times but no discount ever came. Finally got the delivery and the driver was very nice.

Horrible furniture never showed up
This is by far the worst career service on the planet I don't know why they're open I don't know why woodhaven would use you people they didn't communicate with us you couldn't track the tracking number is completely intractable customer service is horrible the couch never showed up and I had to get a refund from woodhaven because my furniture never showed up horrible horrible horrible company that needs to be shut down!

I wish they had a minus 2 rating because that what they deserve. This company can not do anything correct.
I have been trying to get a basketball hole dug for 3 months now. I constantly get an excuse and the standard crap they say they are bringing this matter to the manager and escalating to priority. It is all a preprogramed response that they all say. It is a joke.
The first time the guy came to dig he complained of too many mosquitos and left, mind you he came 2.5 hours late. they were supposed to be at my house between 2-5 they came at 7:30 with no call to tell me they were behind. the story has alot stuff but im sick of typing about this.
I called another company and 5 days later i had my hole dug and basketball pole put up. DO NOT USE SELECT EXPRESS

Appointment between 9 am to 9pm..Never brought item....never called to let me know they weren't coming..... called the next day and they said item will be delivered Wednesday instead of Sunday....no reason or care

Estimate fare and billing fare changed and higher
As I wrote previously that driver was not professional and he was un behavior. Why booking estimate fare changed and increased 135/- in billing fare.
Your driver took long route without my instructions.
Why customer will be suffer due to your unprofessional driver and un behavior.

Despite intervention from the Better Business Bureau, Select Express still has not resolved this issue. I will never purchase anything from a store again if Select Express has to deliver it.
If it were possible to give zero stars I would have chosen that option. This company is horrible!
Not only did the employees cause damage to my home during the delivery, but after months of trying to resolve the issue with the corporate office, they refused to either pay for the damage or fix it. This is after they failed to assemble the furniture properly. I highly recommend avoiding this company if you can and encourage all companies that do business with Select Express to reconsider it. Customers deserve much better than this.

Select Express, want you to work but will not pay
This is a horrible place to be associated with, they should be held accountable for their actions. Worked for a month with them claiming an issue with payroll/ppw was preventing proper payment, all lies.
After a month I stopped working and was told I would be paid in full by Friday, didn't happen. Now, this was not your ordinary job, I hade to use my own vehicle, all expenses were mine, and I purchased all materials to complete the work as well as hiring a helper. I put over 3k miles on my vehicle in 31 days being assured I would be paid for mileage since I had the company's pay schedule in hand, "All miles over 60 from store, will be paid at $1.25 per mile". I drove, in two days, over 1K miles, and was not paid a penny!
I was never reimbursed for materials, never paid for my time and expertise. they just washed their collective hands of me and walked away. I was however, offered a one time payment, far less than what I had spent in materials alone, if I signed a "Release" stating multiple, "Non Disparagement", clauses' .
What do you think would happen if I signed that and sent it back, no check and I would be liable for any printed or spoken word. Unless you are independently wealthy and just want to work for nothing, not even a "thank you", don't bother with Select Express & Logistics..

Truth about assembly Co.'s
I have never worked for Assembler Inc but I have had the non-pleasure of working for another company that provides the same type service, "Select Express". Run like ***, absolutely horrible, horrible Co.
and people. Nothing they place in their classified add is close to the truth.... Always has, "AMERICA'S TOP RETAILER" in the add, HA! I would add pics and or correspondence, but I am still trying to get my Oct.
back pay, which is, btw, in excess of 3k... Pay by the job is actually, "pay when we get around to it", "pay you on the next check", "can't pay, customer says you used too much of their water", "can't pay, customer says you broke wind in front of their daughter". The list goes on and on.
But you have to stay long enough to collect something because you have already invested time and expertise, and if you quit, they keep your last 10 days pay. Absolute criminals..
