They don't honor their Contract
My advice is anyone looking for automobile warranty to not choose Select Auto Protect. Since they have no real physical address, it's been next to impossible to collect a claim issued in court case, in addition Select Auto Protect make it extremely difficult to cancel.
Both the BBB and OAG informed me that my only recourse would be to take them to Delaware's small claims court, which I did. The case was ruled in my favor; however, since May 2025, I've been unable to collect the judgment. Trying to collect has been a nightmare. After the judgment, the court said, 'I was on my own in collecting,' and without a real address, small claims lawyers also said they could not help.
So, after almost four months and a court verdict rendered in my favor, I've still been unable to collect from this company that has thumbed their nose at the judicial system.
I have two more years left on the warranties for two of my cars; I am now trying to cancel the remaining years. I'll see how that goes; I'm not optimistic in light of past actions!

Verified ReviewerSelect auto protect. The first time with them was a charm, the second time was a nightmare.
No advice, other than stay away from them
It has become apparent to me, this company does not care about the consumer. If you look on the Better Business Bureau website, see how many unanswered complaints they have, that should tell you everything you need to know.
I was advised by the Better Business Bureau to call the Attorney General's office or to file a claim in small claims court. I'm not going to Delaware to do a small claims.

Verified ReviewerSelect Auto Protect failed to follow up on my concerns after selling me their extended warranty; I demanded their 30 day full refund but did not get it.
I had questions regarding the "Select Auto Protect" extended warranty that
I'd purchased for my Lincoln MKZ back in July of 2023. I wanted to make sure that the many questions I had regarding the coverage's extent and detail were answered before their 30 day, money back guarantee expired.
I had been assured by their sales representative that I'd be receiving a "follow up" call to answer these and to "go over everything" on Aug 23, 2023. I never received the call. It's now 11 March 2024, and I am STILL waiting.
I had unanswered coverage concerns, questions about using the warranty service, needed basic instruction on its use, etc. They never called me again.
Within 30 days of my purchase, I exercised my right to demand their 30-day money-back refund.
I did not get it, and any correspondence I've emailed to them regarding this issue remains unanswered. I want my $2300 back!
