Seestedts Carpet worst products, and customer service.
Seestedts in St Paul Minnesota, sent a sub-contractor to install tile in our kitchen. The tile was uneven, grout lines inconsistent, and in some areas there was no grout at all. I requested that the owners, and their attorney three separate times to come and look at the poor job, and they refused. They made false accusations about me, and claimed that the tile without looking at it was installed correctly, and in a FALSE statement claimed I was unhappy with my choice. We had to have the tile demoed it was so incredibly bad, yet I picked the same style from another store. It is now flat, consistent grout lines, and beautiful. The salesperson at Seestedts RoxAnn knew nothing about the product, and the owner stated it was not meant to be flat, which RoxAnn was not aware of, and I called the tile Company, and they said it should be flat smooth, with 1.8 grout lines. I asked for only half of what the replacement cost would be, but those greedy owners refused. They claimed I should have had the sub-contractor look at it. I contacted law enforcement, and I do not have to have anyone in my home, that makes me feel uncomfortable, or unsafe. The owners are responsible for their subs, and sales persons, and they should have accompanied the tiler, and any other individuals involved to accompany him. STAY AWAY FROM SEESTEDTS IN ST PAUL, POOR WORK, POOR SALES PEOPLE, AND GREEDY OWNERS, PAT AND LINDA YEAGER.

This is in regards to the written complaint by Alison Azaria and Jim Kleser. Seestedt's sold and installed tile in the customer's home in March, 2015.
They had some installation-related concerns. We addressed their concerns and thought they were satisfied. They accepted an adjustment to their balance and paid. However, they still had a concern, and we scheduled an appointment to inspect the floor.
They cancelled the appointment and we were unable to address their concern. We cannot fix something that we have not had an opportunity to view. The homeowner brought the complaint to the Better Business Bureau at which time we agreed to meet in arbitration to come to a solution. The homeowner declined.
Next, the homeowner alerted the Office of the Minnesota Attorney General. Seestedt's responded to this as well.
Seestedt's has been in business for over 95 years because we service our customers. However, if we are not given the opportunity as in this case, there is not much we can do.
