Hi yes I am complaining about Sedgwick because I had the worst experience I have ever had with that weight since dealing with them. I had a kidney transplant, 12/1/2023.
Every time I spoke with my examiner, she had the most terrible attitude, and I did not understanding. I would only ask her a question if she would give me an attitude and then tell me thats how it how it is and hangs up the phone. I was already going through recovery from a transplant, and I was having complications after transplant, so I really did not have time to deal with her nonsense. My doctor gave me leave until 5/1/2024 .
Due to the complications, I was having after transplant. My examiner only approved my leave until 5/5/2024. So when I called to ask her, why did she only approve it until then she said because they have to keep on sending out information to my doctor every six weeks to extend my leave. My doctor the nurse was so tired of sending them information because they already told them that I needed to be off until May 1.
We will send them information she will pretend like she never received it or shell ask for something else to keep me waiting to get approval for my leave. It came to the point where I just said forget it Ill just go back to work. Which I dont understand why are you pushing me back to work if my body or I wasnt ready I believe my doctor will know my health better than she would. I need to be off to recover a little bit longer because I was having infections and lots of things happening at the transplant.
I did not wanna be forced to go back to work. I want to be 100% before I went back to work. This company is terrible. I called for a supervisor at least five times and never received a response.

I left so many voicemails for the supervisor to return my car, and she never did. I pray to God, I never had to go and leave again, so I will not have to deal with them.

I experienced a very serious mental health crisis a couple of months ago and was told to go through Sedgwick by my manager to ensure my time away was compensated so I could get some help. After, sending every document I had over to Sedgwick, I learned that the employee who had given me the email to submit certain documents gave me the wrong email.
They denied my leave, and at this point, without any income I was unable to pay my bills and most importantly continue seeking psychiatric help. I attempted to appeal the decision by sending my documents to the correct email but Ive yet to be responded to. Every time Ive talked to an employee on the phone, they have been incredibly rude and offered no help to me or my situation and I was blamed for not getting the right email. Its been almost 5 months and my mental health has severely deteriorated, and I am unable to pay my rent and many of my bills have gone to collection.
What once felt like a hardship in my life has completely turned into a nightmare, and Sedgwick has disregarded me and my leave of absence case completely.
I've been without my medication and the help of my psychiatrist for about a month now, and I'm now worse off than I was when this started. Realizing now, that so many people have had their cases mishandled by Sedgwick in their time of need is disheartening at the least but malicious at the most.

I was sent a letter from Amazon stating that I need to get a return to work letter by the 9th of March when I have a work status Report that says that I am suppose to be on modified work until the 19th of March. I went to my primary and was told that I had to go to the occupational Doctor that modified my worh activity to get the return to work letter.(Dr.
Dhir,Harinder Kumar, MD.) Dr. Dhir is not available until the 19th of March when I go back for follow-up.Also the letter I recieved stated that I could be terminated if I don't produce a back to work letter by the 9th of March.
My hand is still painful to use and I am in therapy now. I don't know what to do now,because I cant use my hand yet

I've been trying to call my claims adjustor for weeks and left numerous messages on the main message center with no response. Even the written corrispondence that was sent to me (by the Nurse Case Manager) had my claims adjustore's phone number on it, but when I call it ask for thier extension which is not on any of the paper works.
The service also offers you to press {*} for the directory, but then ask you to put in the mailbox code after pressing the {*} button. I've never had to deal with workers comp before; however, this is the worst company and I hope its the last time I'll ever have to deal with them.

Preferred solution: Injection in my neck. Most people get them 2-3 times a year. I am lucky if I get them every year to 18 months.
