Love These Guys!!!
So I previously had an alarm from a different alarm company. I won't say which name cause that would be tacky, but their name only had 3 letters.
To be honest I was happy with them and their service until Security One contacted me and I found out that I was over paying and didn't get all of the alarm equipment that I should have gotten. Security One hooked it up! The set me up with a much better alarm with more equipment for almost $14 less every month!!! I love these guys because I love saving money.
On top of all of that their customer service has been way easier to work with than was my previous company. Thanks Security One for making it great!

Actually very surprised with Security One's service
My wife and I moved to the LA area about 6 months ago & decided to get an alarm for the house. We contacted Security One and their customer service and service from the installation team was excellent.
They were on time which is awesome, and any time that I have needed to call into the customer service to ask questions about my alarm they have been super helpful. Its a surprise b/c all the other service companies for our house i.e. TV, Internet, cleaner, etc.
have been really bad! Its nice to know someone still cares about treating their customer with respect.

Called to cancel
I was with security one for three years theast four months we had a power outage and the company never tried cared the system was on but they billed me on time while it was off. I could not wait tlfir the contract to be up, so I called and called and cancelled the first day I was able to, the lady said I would get a call back from a manager, that never happened but I did get a new bill.
I called and cancelled again and the customer service guy said he would take care of it, I hung up thinking great and I still got billed again, WOW. I called again and the bill was so high the customer service guys said how you ever sent a letter of cancellation and I said no, he said you need to send a letter this is the first customer service guy to tell me that, do I did that day and then he said it needed to be signed, so I signed and scanned back. Then he said he could not stop service till I paid a bill that I did not owe and they knew I called and cancelled the day I could and continued to bill and I was talking to a customer service rep.
That threatened to send to collections unless I pay a balance that was Security One problem with customer service issues of bad communication and that is was customer service is for to help. I still am being charged, PLEASE HELP!!!!

I never even thought about getting a home security system put in our home, but one day (about 6 months ago) I came home from picking up our little girl from school and we found a man in our house that had broken in. He was shocked to see us, and I was terrified of him!
He ran away and never came back, but my husband and I knew that we needed an alarm system to protect our house but more importantly our little girl. Our neighbor Jane has a security system by Security One and we asked her what she thought and she loved it so we had them install one in our home and connect us immediately.
Great decision. Security One is a wonderful company, the security system is amazing, but best of all is the peace of mind we have again knowing we are being protected.
EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH SECURITY ONE
I have dealt with a couple of security alarm companies in the past and each time it has been a negative experience. A friend of mine referred to Security One and told me that they were NOT like the bulk of security alarm companies.
He assured me that Security One was honest, very reasonably priced and consumer friendly. So, when I called them up for a home alarm system one thing was made perfectly clear after Security One installed my alarm system: My friend was absolutely right! I could not believe how upfront and transparent their salesman conducted his business. The installation process went smoothly.
Plus, when I had a question about the alarm system, their customer service could not be more helpful.
In short, they delivered on their promise to be honest, inexpensive and competent. I could not be more satisfied with their service!!
Great Service!
Last week I received a phone call from a Security One Telemarketer. I usually hang up when a telemarketer calls me but this telemarketer was exremely nice.
The sold me on thier great system and rates. The technician came over the day after, arrived on time and installed a very nice system. The system included a keypad, siren, back up batter, remote control, 2 motion detectors, door and window sensors. They did all of thie $199.00!
It was the best price and the best equipment I could find. IF you want a good system at a good price, I highly recommend Security One.

I just had a Security System installed by Security One and it went amazing. They arrived right on time and gave me more equipment than I actually purchased.
I really feel good about Security One. I don't understand how anyone could complain about Security One. Maybe their competitors are making false claims? I recommneded my neighbors and family memebers since they were so professioanl.
If you are looking for a security company that cares for thier customers, please call Security One. I know there are a lot of security companies out there however I would have to say they are the best! The sales rep, the technician and their customer service has been amazing!!

New to California, nice welcoming.
I am new to Los Angeles, California. My husband got offered a job as a cardiologist at the hospital here in Torrance CA. We decided that since we were going to be moving from a small college town to the big city we wanted to make our home as safe as possible
for our little family (especially since we have a 2 year old son). We started doing our research about what alarm company to get and after getting mixed reviews about a bunch of different companies we came across Security One. They had a comprehensive security
system that would fit the home we where getting ready to move into, and the price that we felt was best in our range. The day before we moved in the set up the system for us and explained very carefully how to use it. They were very helpful and just plain
nice. Thank you guys so much.
FRAUDULENT LIARS
I already had alarm service from another company, but Security One's prices seemed much better so my husband and I agreed to meet with them. A technician came over and we agreed to sign a contract in return for receiving a smoke/heat detector and the wireless phone network hardware for no additional cost.
They came to install and forgot to put in the smoke/heat detector. I called the next day to let them know but couldn't get a hold of anyone. When I was able to finally talk to a person, they said that the technician never promised us the item and that it was our word against his and they weren't taking our word. After many HEATED conversations, non call-backs, and non returned calls, I finally went ahead and stopped payment on them.
This company is nothing but a bunch of fraudulent liars. DO NOT ALLOW THIS COMPANY TO HAVE YOUR BUSINESS!!!
Security One Lacks Customer Service and System Breaks!
We have had Security One for 7-months and to this point it is still not working correctly. The customer service number staffs nice people who apologize often, however they are simply not empowered to fix the issues.
In the Minneapolis Metro area there is only one service representative and he is often late, doesn't show up at all (three times) and most importantly - he has been unable to fix our system We currently have sensors falling off of our doors and two holes in our master bedroom wall (still waiting for a panel to be installed). They don't have a viable solution for fixing the system and we are simply at our wits end! The average wait time when you call their number is about 8-minutes ..
my assumption is we are not the only ones having problems. I would not recommend!
Security One Alarm Systems stink!
I have been having problems with my phone and security system for over four months. I've had the phone people out and they say the phone line is fine according to all tests.
What's interesting is when my phone service goes out the phone rings through the alarm system keypad but the actual phone is dead(no dial tone). I scheduled a service call with Security One and they were supposed to come out a week later. I waited all day for the technician and he never showed up or called. I kept trying to reach the service department and each time I received a message that the service department was "not available.
Please leave a number and someone will call back". I kept calling (5 times) and NEVER received a call back. I finally got through but they can't come out until 7/3.
I've set my alarm off 4 times this weekend alone and never received a call. When I called them they had no record of the alarm being set off.

You can't be serious in expecting utility and alarm companies to refund maintenance downtime. For example, do you expect the cable company to refund you for times they are down? Ridiculous!
