I had made a payment in September 2025 by check

  • - September 2025 payment: check amount was incorrect.
  • - Nov 13, 2025: returned check; bank has no record; no prior notice; risk of auction.

Subject: Urgent Concern Regarding Returned Payment and Storage Account

I am writing to formally address an issue regarding my September 2025 payment. At the time, the storage manager informed me that the check amount was incorrect. She contacted the corporate office and was instructed to process the payment, so I believed the matter had been resolved.

On Thursday morning, November 13, 2025, I received a call from the storage manager stating that my check had been returned by the bank, though he was unable to locate the check. Prior to this, I had not received any notification—no returned check, phone call, or e-mail from September through November 2025. When I contacted my bank, they confirmed that there is no record of the check being processed during that period.

This raises serious concerns: Why was I not notified until November about the returned check? Why was there such a delay in communication regarding this matter?

I also contacted the corporate office and spoke with Latichia. Unfortunately, she was unable to provide meaningful assistance. Instead, I received only an email apology, with no resolution. Despite multiple calls to prevent my storage unit from being sold, I have not received the support I expected.

I have been a loyal customer for many years and have never missed a payment. Had I been informed of this issue earlier, I would have addressed it immediately. I pride myself on paying all of my bills on time, and this situation is both frustrating and unacceptable.

As of this morning, November 17, 2025, I requested a call from the manager at 10:00 a.m. It is now past that time, and I have not received any communication. This lack of responsiveness suggests that my storage unit is being placed at risk of auction without fair consideration.

If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will be forced to relocate my belongings to another storage company that values its customers and conducts business with integrity. I am also disappointed that the CEO has not made himself available to address these concerns, leaving the matter in the hands of staff who have not demonstrated proper accountability.

I request immediate clarification and resolution to prevent further escalation.

Will not pay your claim. Jump through hoops!

AI Highlights
  • - The adjuster called the epoxy an improper fix and the claim invalid.
  • - I'll pay about $1,400 for the repair after paying $157/mo for 6 months.

I had my 2003 BMW 5 series towed to my mechanic. I had discussed with him that my boyfriend put an apoxy on my raidiator to prevent my vehicle from overheating 3 days prior.

Of course we agreed that this was a simple patch and that I needed my car fixed. I took my car to my mechanic and contacted Secure Car Care. They asked for my last two service records. No problem.

I take great care of my vehicle and ensure that it is up on all maintenance. (I think another form of proof that I take care of my vehicle is by purchasing Secure Car Care.) Secure Car Care proceeded to send an adjuster to my vehicle. They explained that this is what they do for a fix over $1000. The adjuster deemed the apoxy as an "improper fix" and thus deemed the claim as invalid.

They said, "How do we know that this wasn't present before your contract began." I've been with them for 6 months paying $157 per month!!! Why would I allow flimsy apoxy on my car for months? It wouldn't even hold. According to the company it is an improper fix and they refuse to pay for my car repair.

I strongly suggest that you NOT utilize this company as secure car care. It is anything but secure car care. I have been dealing with this for three weeks now only to learn that they are NOT the company they claim to be.

I will be paying $1400 for the fix. This company will NOT stand by their word and will NOT pay for your car to be fixed.
