RUBBER CHECK FROM SECRET SHOPPER

april the 7th 2011 i recieved a check from marilyn bank from the secret shopper in madison alabama. the check was in the amount of 1,985.23, i took this check to the bank to deposit it, but i told the branch manager to check out the check first. im so glad i did that, it wasnt worth the paper it was printed on. i sent marilyn bank an email explaining to her how happy she made me, and i told her shame on her, and what she's doing to people will be done to her. i asked her what was she profiting from sending a rubber check if she's not benefiting from it and i made it clear that i would let everybody no her name. its---MARILYN BANK 1030 BROWNS FERRY RD MADISON AL 35758.SECRET SHOPPER,, I STILL HAVE THE CHECK

Exactly correct. The fraud person uses many names- I have about 20 of them recorded so far and the bank certified check they sent me out of Texas also was worthless. They are hopeful that you will forward then funds by Western Union before you find out the check is worthless thus they are steeling from you.

Most probably out of China.

Secret Shopper USA Scam

I am writing to warn all consumers of a scam that I have been victimized by. Please if you ever receive a letter from Secret Shopper USA do not follow the instructions in the letter. This is a scam and I had to find out the hard way. They are scam artists from Canada, they use legitamite companies information to deceive you. Do not cash any checks that they send you. They are bogus and you will be on the hook for the funds. Lets all put these *** artists out of a job by not allowing ourselves to be victimized.

I WOULD JUST LIKE TO SAY YES THERE ARE ALOT OF SCAM ARTIST BUT NOT ALL SECRET SHOPPER COMPANIES ARE SCAM ARTIST I PERSONALLY STARTED ONE BUT I DIDN'T GET MONEY ORDER OR CASHIERS CHECK I RECIEVED AN ACTUAL BANK CHECK AND MY BANK MANAGER LOOKED AT IT AND EVERTHING CLEARED FINE I ALSO CALLED THE BANK I RECIEVED THE CHECK FROM AND THE FUNDS WERE THERE AND ALSO IT DEFF IS NOT IN CANADA SO JUST DEFF BE CAREFUL WITH SCAM ARTIST BUT THERE ARE SECRET SHOPPER JOBS!! :grin

MYSTERY SHOPPERS ARE PHONIE'S

I also applied to work as a mystery shopper but when I deposited the 4800.00 check into my bank, it came back as Fraudulant. Someone needs to do something about these phonie ***. i called an ad that was in the Slidell, Louisiana, free magazine that are on the racks in all the stores. They sell things for individuals in the community. I thought it sounded lagit, but in the end I got burned. I spent 37.00 to western union this check to an out of state bank, that contacted me that the check was a fraud. I was very angry and want these jerks caught.

I would say just be very cautious of things that sound too good to be true, and yes they are very good scammers... a lot of the time the bank that recives these phony checks can't even tell until it's to late, unfortunately you pay the price.

But there are some out there that really work it's just that you have too be very careful... and another peice of advice, GOOGLE is not a god lol...

people are always yelling about google this and google that... Just think and use ya good ole' common sense and you'll be fine

Promised me free gas and vacation with membership what a crock!

I replied to an advertisement in the Newspaper for a secret shopper. I was promised a minimum of 50.00 for each and told with a membership I would receive 100.00 in free gas, free vacation and 360.00 in free coupons. I have yet to see anything promised, and the Secret Shopper was nothing like I was told. They were sure quick to take my money, and I have yet to get a hold of someone to cancel my membership. In my opinion Pro Shoppers online is a joke. Don't waste your time or your money! I should have known better...if it looks to good to be true...it probably is.
