Secret City Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram - Price altered by dealership to make up for "trade in"
Secret City Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram - Price altered by dealership to make up for "trade in"
I bought a 2022 Chrysler 300. Their website showed $37135. I drove the car. Loved it. 1 salesman said the other didn't want to give me $11K for my trade, but "he was gonna make it work." I thought OK. When I got the loan paperwork--line 1 was for $40825.00 I questioned this REPEATEDLY. They only said "fees." I stupidly signed. When I got home I found the window sticker showing MSRP was $33545. WHAAATTTT? They jacked the price up $7280 over MSRP? I spoke to salesman and the other guy who said "they don't do that." But no one would give me any explaination other than "fees." One said his "paperwork looks different." I complained to finance manager and pointed out all the reviews on google that reference the same situation. I said it seems fraudulent to me, how can that be legal? She said one of the sales mgrs would call me. That didn't happen. I've complained to: Chrysler/Fiat/Stellantis corporate via FEDEX so I can confirm receipt. They can not have this many bad reviews and all those customers be wrong.

Got home and found the window sticker they had in the glove compartment. MSRP was $33545. So they jacked up the price $7280 OVER MSRP!!! Now I'm a girl. I've called and I've called and I've called. I spoke to sales twice. Now no one will call me back. I'm a girl. What a bunch of "real men." NOT!!! I have words I'd like to say, but I can't. READ THEIR GOOGLE REVIEWS. STORIES SOUND JUST LIKE MINE.

Terrible service at a dealership

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
my son and I bought a 2014 jeep patriot in march 2020 for 11,000 after purchase it was making weird sounds. We took it in and they had it for 3 weeks trying to figure out the problem, eventually they put a new driveshaft in it and made him pay for it even though I told them it was under the 3rd party jeep unlimited warranty that they sold us on. They said they called TWS and it wasn't covered. then I called TWS and they said that the dealership has not contacted them at all. So then the dealership fought with me on it and said they missed something in inspection or they would have sent it to auction instead of selling it. They offered to buy it back but at half price since it was messed up. But that's how they sold it. We couldn't accept the loss of 5500 so we said just fix it. They said they couldn't figure out what was wrong and then out of nowhere they call and say it was bushings and its fixed and to come get it and pay for the bushings. Well it wasn't fixed at all, the driveshaft and bushings had nothing to do with it. for the next 5 months we kept trying to get them to fix it and they finally installed a used rear differential and it came with an 18 month unlimited parts and labor warranty. Well that part failed immediately and when we took it back they said they would not work on the car anymore and that they didn't warranty the part. I called knox auto parts where the part came from and they said the dealership has to call and put a claim on it and now the dealership screens my calls and says they are busy when we call. They also put my mother in law on speakerphone and a few of them were laughing at her on the phone because she is Italian and sounds funny. They did call to apologize for that. But this entire 8 months since we purchased the vehicle they have given us the run around and dodge our calls or pass us to someone else when we ask for the manager or owner. They even pretended to be the owner during a call and then said they were not the owner at the end. I have tried contacting Adam white the owner to no avail. This was at secret city Chrysler dodge jeep in oak ridge Tennessee. We are still trying to get it fixed. My parents and I have purchased 5 cars from this lot and never had an experience like this in the past. a month into this we asked them to buy it back in full and we would purchase something else but they wouldn't. this is my sons first car of his own money and he has had to pay diagnostic fees to secret city 5 times and other places as well. Please help us in this ordeal. Thanks

Lieing salesperson

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Gabriel aka GayB, will tell you a vehicle is available after it has been sold. If he will lie to a customer just to get an appointment you know he will lie like a little GayB to close a deal. Time wasters and liers.

Terrible service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
My wife and I have had bad experiences with this dealership in the past. But we received an email from them about a new vehicle we might have been interested in. My wife called a salesman but there was someone in the background yelling like a drunk at a bar so she had to get off the phone as she could not hear the salesman. We were in the area and stopped in at the dealership. We asked about the car. We were told to have a seat and a saleswoman started asking question before we were allowed to see the vehicle. I had to ask 3 times to see the vehicle. Then we were lead out to the back lot on foot. My wife has trouble with walking. There are gates so you can’t drive back to the lot. We walked way too far and were left standing by a vehicle priced double the price of the one we came to see. The saleswoman could not locate the vehicle we came to see. She then wanted us to walk back inside and wait until she found the vehicle. Of course we left and will not go back there. The same old issues still exist. Bad service and salespeople who don’t know what they are doing. I would advise all to avoid this dealership. If the can’t find their own cars then you don’t want to be trusting them with your money.

Dealer added hidden fees

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
The dealership added GAP insurance to my loan even though I had refused the insurance. Dealership tried to hide what they did. They refused to redo contract and take fees off my loan. Buyers need to avoid this dealership. They will hide fees in your loan in hopes you don't catch them. I have filed complaints with several consumer agencies over this scam they pulled on me. Could not get the owner or General Manager to contact me. I hope suing them in open court will prevent them from doing this to others. Buyers should avoid this place or be ready to be ripped off. I am still trying to get the dealership to provide me with my paperwork on the deal.

Secret City Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram 2014 Jeep Cherokee Latitude Review from Nashville, Tennessee

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I purchased a 2014 Jeep Cherokee Latitude from the Secret City dealership in Oak Ridge, TN in December of 2014. When purchasing the vehicle, I did purchase an extended warranty. Within a month of the purchase, I cancelled the extended warranty and requested a refund. I talked to Rebecca at the dealership and was told the refund was send to my original bank, but was then not sent to my current bank. I have had a very difficult time getting a copy of the check to get my $2,000 plus refund. I have been in talks with several dealerships to purchase a new dodge vehicle, but was waiting until this refund is credited to my account. This is a direct reflection of the Chrysler corporation and how you conduct business. I will never buy another vehicle from Chrysler, while this refund is not honored! My number is 865771****.
