The company advertises that they sell a replacement seat base for Cesca chairs. The seat base that they sell does not fit all versions of the Cesca chair. My chair is from Italy. I talked to a person with the company when I noticed the issue, and they told me to drill new holes for the seat. Well, that did not work. The company did not respond to a phone message and an email message that I left regarding the problem.

User's recommendation: Be aware that the seat base does not fit all versions of the Cesca chair.
