Shop elsewhere! They are dishonest

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

BE CAREFUL if you are doing business with Seasell Auto. They misrepresent their vehicles and are very dishonest. I just purchased a 2020 Range Rover Sport SVR from them. I live in California and was unable to travel to North Carolina due to Covid-19. Therefore, I asked Blake several times over text, telephone conversations and email if the vehicle had any damage at all (even if it was small damage). Blake 1000% guaranteed to me that the vehicle had no issues and was flawless with "No dings, dents or scratches".

I paid over $100,000 in cash for a vehicle and had it shipped from North Carolina to California. Upon arrival, the transportation company showed me the pre-inspection report that they completed before loading the vehicle onto the truck in North Carolina. The report indicated damage in multiple areas. I inspected the vehicle and verified the damage myself. I immediately contacted Blake and sent him pictures of the damage. At first, Blake responded that he would come up with a solution and instructed me to obtain an estimate. I went to a bodyshop and the estimate was $2519.28. Once I provided the quote to Blake, he responded with "There is really not much we can do as far as helping with the paint. We (both him and I) never noticed any damage. we just don't have the money to help". This is not true because Blake's signature is on the pre-inspection document that the transportation company completed.

I now have to pay out-of-pocket. I would have never purchased this vehicle if I knew this damage was on it. Seasell Auto makes fraudulent statements, is dishonest and will say anything to make the sale. I have the emails, text messages, and pictures and the pre-inspection report that Blake signed. My new vehicle is now in the bodyshop. This is extremely disappointing and was a horrible experience.

5/5/2020 Update: I was able to negotiate the body shop down to $1050 for the repairs.

Blake is a complete liar. I could go into some long stories about this place and Blake’s lies but I’ll just say buy at your own risk. Blake is going to meet his match one day when he’s not expecting it.

Seasell Auto - Dont belive negative reviews

We bought a car from Seasell and they OFFERED the carfax without us asking and went over it with us to make sure we understood. They also offered a warranty at a very affordable price. I think after seeing that they have written two lies about this company leads me to believe it has nothing to do with the quality of vehicles they sell or their way of doing business.

Internet buys beware

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

BUYER BEWARE!!!Blake will tell you how nice there cars are,how they have been thoroughly checked out.but in reality they just do oil change and decent detail.notice how few of pictures they show, how they don’t do any close ups.no negotiation on price of vehicle or Documentary fee.after waiting 3 weeks to have it shipped I got my vehicle and find out that I get no paperwork or temporary permit to drive it home.as I try and shift vehicle into drive it slams into gear.not quite as nice as Blake stated when I was buying it.as I start drive I have to look through a cracked windshield, not a big deal but for $39,000 I would think it would have been replaced.the next day when I walk up to it from 10 feet away you could see the sanding scratches from very poor bodywork which was done on this vehicle.and then there was rust that I was told it had absolutely no rust at all.i been 33 day since I bought and still no title and not really sure when there going to get it.so buyers beware of this dealership.make sure you see a copy of title before you send them any money or it could be month or more before you get a title or not at all.that my experience with Seasell,I am sure I am not first customer who has had to go through this.

To me. Engine blew after 3 red payment was made.

Refuse to fix it. They only

Offer 30 warranty to people because all their cars look nice, but are straight garbage!

Not worth getting screwed over like me and my family did. Thanks again seasell.

Great Company

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I have worked with John and Jimmy on several occasions and only had good clean transactions. I appreciate their professional service and great communication throughout the process.

I will work with them again the next time I purchase a vehicle.

Wow, l just realised you half to write at least 80 words to leave a comment. That seems odd to me.

I clearly and concisely said everything I needed to in the first paragraph above. I hope my frustration with this website will not influence anyone's opinion of my review above.

Super Happy with my vehicle a year later...Thanks Seasell

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I really don't understand what some people are talking about. The cars have CARFAX reports attached.

If you look in the carfax report you can see if the title is salvaged and get the maintenance and registration mileage. I purchased a 2006 Scion xB and the sale and service even after the sale was amazing. This was just over a year ago, the vehicle is running tight and smooth. I got the full history reports with the vehicle from initial purchase.

Somebody here didn't do their homework or is looking to discredit a good company. I don't see any mention of what they purchased, or what went wrong...

Watch Out for John and the salesman Jimmy Seasell Inc

Beware of these 2 guys John and the salesman Jimmy and don't trust whatever they tell you. All they know is BS, try not to buy any car from them, but if you have to make sure the car is not salvage which they never mention also do not sign any paper especially the Arbitration form .

Remember they have no right to make you sign any paper beside the buyers order. Also if they told you it comes with 3 month 3000 mile warranty, that's BS because it's cover a 3rd warranty company name Wheelz AKA American Auto Guardian, you might want to google it. This company has very bad review and they won't cover anything. If you are thinking to buy a car at Seasell Inc.

You better pray because it might have major issue, included Salvage history, Odometer roll back, Mess up engine that you won't even know until things happen. Think twice before you make any decision, why buy from them if you can go with other dependable dealer.

Make sure you ask them about 3 days money back guarantee and if they refuse it then it means they are hiding something from you. People beware....

I had an awesome experience there! The negative reviews listed about 3000 mile warranty/lies about the car being a salvaged title.....They give you the CARFAX IN HOUSE AND GO OVER EVERYTHING THAT'S POSTED WITHIN THE CARFAX DOCUMENTS!!!!

THEY ALSO OFFER AN EXTENDED WARRANTY SERVICE TO PURCHASE, THAT'S SIMPLY NOT CALLED AKA "WHEELZ"?

This deanship is very professional, small and family owned...I am 100% pleased with my Range Rover purchase! I couldn't be happier with the smooth process and transaction and the guys working hard to get me the rate I wanted for my car...THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!!

We do not sell salvage vehicles. We never have and never will.

If we sold you a salvage vehicle please return it to us. You have that right. if we sold you a odometer rollback please return it to us. You have that right.

You are protected by the damage disclosure form and the odometer disclosure form that you signed. We provide service contracts from outside parties that every other reputable dealership does. Everyone of our customers are encouraged to take any vehicle we sell to their mechanic of choice. We have not and will not ever turn that request down.

We allow our customers to take test drives of the vehicle by their self for as long as needed. We allow you the privacy to test options of the car, check maintenance, check drivability, and performance. Call around to any other dealer before taking this complaint into consideration before purchasing your next automobile. You will not hear one bad thing about our business that has been trusted for over 12 years.

I'm not sure where this complaint is coming from, but it is unwarranted and negligent. Jimmy Bartlett (910) 297-****.

I bought 4 cars from Seasellauto so far the best cars I have never had better cars, also after selling my cars that's I bought from them a year later I still didn't Loss any money but I made money on then because their prices are always cheaper than other dealers, they have never had a salvage car ever, those people are legit and very respectful and who ever you are that gave this comment I think you are a BS cuz all you said is not true at all, because every car I bought from them they let me test drive it for the whole weekend and if I liked it i boy if not I simply return the car and they thank me so respectfully you are a liar and a BS,

Beware Scammer DO NOT TRUST Jimmy Bartlett

I won the Ebay Auction for a 2010 BMW X6M and the listing describe the car it's mint and needs nothing. I Spoke to Jimmy and was told the car looks new and comes with 2 set of keys and manual and will help arrange the shipping.

After he received my money he start to ignore me. So i told him i want to cancel the deal and he won't let me and lie to me about the car was already shipped. I keep waiting on the car till almost later and finally the car arrived. I was surprise and shock.

The car has dent and scratch all over, only 1 keys and most important the car has crack engine cover and leaking oil on both side of the engine. I call him right away and he won't pick up my call. People beware of this dealer. I will try my best to bring them to court and file with NC consumer affair.

Do not trust them, all they want is your money. If anyone has the same issue please contact me at 718 902 ****.

You're a terrible writer. It makes me think that you barely speak English, and must have misunderstood a lot about buying a car. I do not trust this review even remotely.

Racist! I understand every word he wrote. It makes me think you’re that Jimmy he complained about.

Johnny Chen. Your wife did not want you to get this car.

You offered me $3000 to back the deal up after it had already been processed through the bank. Customer could not understand that I could not back it up, so he threatened to blast me on the internet. I have forms from the NC attorney general who received my text log from our communications claiming this was 100% buyers remorse.

I have a copy of this in my office for anyone who wants to see it. (Including our text log Johnny)

Watch out. These guys are crooked and the owner John and the salesman Jimmy are fast talkers.

The owner disappears after the sale when a problem arises. I understand AS IS but somethings you have to know about if you send it through a shop like they say they do.

BEWARE!!!!!!!

I would be very Leary of dealing with these guys and if you do have the car checked out by a shop. As for me I will never deal with these folks again, they are typical used car salesman.

Buyer beware of SEASELL AUTOMOTIVE in Wilmington NC.....

My two cents!!!

Is that you, Billy Miller? The guy that used to work there and then ran one of the cars for sale straight through the building while you were drunk one night?

Yep. That's you.

You're lucky you didn't die and the owners were willing to work with you and not call the police. :roll :grin
