It is embarrassing to admit my stupidity but I have lost approximately $15,000.00 on this site. I am an older guy and was really ignorant to the way these kind of sites work.
I am a very lonely man and somehow stumbled across this site. I started chatting with a girl and we talked for three years. I was the happiest man on earth! Then we started talking about meeting.
Of course the day before we were to meet something would always come up with her. Not knowing that it probably wasnt even a real person, I wouldnt give up, we set a date and time to meet eight separate times. Eventually it hit this stupid old fool that it was never going to happen. I had spent all of my money and maxed out credit cards.
Credit score from 820 to 500.
Now I sit and drink my scotch and wait to die. Dont be like me.
