Scotts Valley Vet Clinic

I recently moved to SV and after going on line and reading about the different animal hospitals available and talking to my neighbors I chose Scotts Valley Animal Hospital. What a great decision on my part. I was greeted by name although I had not filled out any paperwork. The friendly staff offered my dog treats, and immediatey he relaxed. I met with the Dr. and discussed my concerns. I felt like all my questions were answered and more. I was educated on flea and tick prevention and dental disease. My previous vet never told me how important these things are. I am so pleased with all the good information that I have now. I want my dog with me for ever, I know now that I'll keep him in the best possible health thanks to the staff at Scotts Valley Vet. Sincerely' MJR

Scotts Valley Vet Clinic

I have been a client at Scotts Valley Vets for many years. The Dr.s and staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. From the moment I walk in the door I feel welcomed. I have never waited more than 10 minutes before taken into an exam room and have my pet seen by the Dr.s. They all have gone above and beyond the call of service!! My questions have all been answered and concerns addressed. Instructions are clearly given by the Dr.s and assistance. Even at check out time, the receptionist ask if things went well and go over the charges with you to make sure everything is satisfactory. Where else do you get service like this??? My own medical Dr.appointments don't go this well. Do not take the word of one unsatisfied (possibly new client) that was having a bad day, I think there is more not said by this persons complaint then meets the eye. Hear! Hear! for Scotts Valley Vets!! You have hundreds of VERY satisfied client and pets. Sincerely, Amy

Scotts Valley Vet is the very best in the biz

ScottsValley Vet is the very best in the biz at keeping pets health the number one priority! They always keep me informed as to the best preventative health care for my pets, and the most up to date tests and treatments! I love the support staff and always feel like I am the number one person of the day! They all enjoy what they do and it is obvious that they love the animals! They are eager and willing to answer all my questions without hestation. Dr's Miller and Hill have cared for my pets for years and I dont expect ever changing that. They truely know their ***! (and believe me I have tested them with some crazy pet related issues) No amount of money could replace my pets, but I will gladly pay whatever Scotts Valley Vet asks me to because it is toatlly worth it to keep them healthy. If you have a pet in the Santa Cruz area, I promise you a very special experience.

Scotts Valley Vet refuses to refund money for services not rendered

In April we took our new puppy to Scott's Valley Veterinary Clinic, Inc. and prepaid a puppy package. Later the puppy's original owners demanded her back, and sadly she was relinquished. When we contacted SVVC to refund the puppy package, (146.00) we were told it is nonrefundable and nontransferable. Of course, they provided a promotional flier that shows this written in small print at the bottom. This was never disclosed to us, nor did we, to our knowledge agree to these terms, nor could we have forseen the loss of the puppy. Because we paid for the package on our credit card, I'm stuck with the bill, and the interest, and have no dog to show for it. We're simply asking for the refund of the portion of the package that was not rendered.

People like this make it hard for

the good people to have a voice.

Dr's Miller and Hill at SVVC have

for the last ten years cared for my

pets with devotion, knowledge and on

many occasions above and beyond

the call of duty. They are willing to

hold my hand, and share info to educate me, they never make me feel

like I have paid for something that I have not recieved. in this economy

things are tight, however I willingly

pay for the services they offer, and

I feel like I get more in the return!

The staff is the best ever, and they all

remember my pets, and my family,

we wouldnt dream of trusting our

pets to anyone else!

In reference to the above complaint, this matter was resolved with our client May 25, she was contacted and given the choice of a refund by mail or a credit on account at our clinic. The client chose to keep the credit at our clinic, which suggests to us she will be returning with another pet to our clinic. This also suggests we resolved this matter with her and that she is happy with our veterinarians, staff and the quality service we pride ourselves in providing.

Why are you trying to push your problem on the Vet? It was YOUR responsibility to read the information about the package, NOT the Vets responsibility to hold your hand and read the entire brochure to you.

They probably assumed you were grown-ups. so...

GROW UP! perhaps you should have read the fine print when you bought the puppy in the 1st place.
