Scotts Police K9s
Scotts Police K9's
I bought a protection dog from this company and I was guaranteed that this dog was going to *** on command. protect and get aggressive on command and was completely family oriented so that I knew while I was away working my wife kids and pets were all protected by a 9500.00 smart dog willing to die for its family.
I was promised a perfectly healthy dog and was promised a guarantee for performance. It seemed like a great deal since she came from a great line however I found out this dog not only seems friendly to everyone however she was evil to my other pets to the point where I lost one black lab when they got into a fight and my other 130 pounder barely lived when I jumped in the middle and pulled her off him. which for my efforts got me bit also. If you can do not do business with this company.
instead of just helping me sell her or buying her back this company fell back on its contract that said they would only replace the dog, which we could not trust given we lost one lab, we raised from a pup and the other one we cant lose my wife is way too attached to him. Not to mention we have children and everything this company guaranteed we did not get.

Sorry, but I absolutely disagree. I have 4 dogs from this company and who are all they were promoted to be.
Half of the success of the dog depends on the handling at home. I also have other pets but I do not mix my protection dogs with my house pets. Their training requires sensible handling. It cannot be like the Walton's.
I have all 4 of mine living together as a pack and the adults are even raising the puppies. But they do not mix with my house dogs- who may not know enough to not challenge them etc. these protection dogs will not back down from a challenge- but that's why you got them in the first place. Sensible handling and some separation of the dogs and respect for the guard fog training could have prevented this tragedy.
I am so sorry for your loss- but this is not Scott's K9's fault.
And it does say in the contract that they replace the dog. I should know- I signed more than 1 of them.
