WATCH OUT!

I signed up, never once logged in until I called to see what company and service this company offered. The woman on the phone was polite and could tell I had never logged into my account before. She said she was going to put in a refund request and I would hear back from them. That was last fall, and I just noticed a monthly charge of 29.95 every month since! I was never followed up with as promised and it was forgotten. I am upset because I had explain to the woman on the phone how strapped I was financially, she assured me my account would be taken care of. IT WAS NOT! I sent them an email today, hoping at minimum to get a refund from Nov. to now. It's $119.85!!!

I asked to cancel which should be simple but turned around to be a 15 minute conversation to try to keep me from cancelling. From giving so many months free, to keeping part of the services or saying that its really important to keep to make sure i that my credit is protected. When i finally got him to understand to cancel I asked if since they just billed me 3 days ago would i still have 30 days before cancel. He said no it is cancelled as of that day. Think its really unfair to have to pay for a month for 3 days. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Thank you for your time and have a good day.

I've had no problems with it at all. I saw the ad for credit scores created the account with my credit card andfound errors on my report. I called the number and not only did the guy show me how to correct the errors but lowered the price for me too. I've read the complaints and they're not my experience at all. I mean it tells you everything, how long the trial is what it cost and the number to call to cancel. Just shows how many people don't read.

Scoresense is a Scam.

Scoresense is a scam. That is fact! Back in March of 2014, I applied for a car loan online. At the end of the application popped a credit score check requirement for a $1.00 charge. I agreed to that and frankly I thought that was the end of it. Being a busy individual like many, I admit that I did not catch the $29.95 monthly charge after 7 days if I did not make an effort to cancel. However, I did not want nor did I have any intention of applying for a membership with or services by Scoresense. However, 7 months later I noticed my credit card balance has increased when I was not using it. Contacted my credit card company and discovered Scoresense has been charging my card $29.95 per month since April. Contacted Scoresense and requested a refund. Their response? A refund of $29.95 and that was it! The reasoning given for refusing the rest? My request for the refund was made after the billing date. That did not even make any sense to me. I fought back.... . I did not call Scoresense's customer service again as I knew that would be wasted time and a joke. I sent 2 e-mails. The first one reiterated my request for a full refund of all charges or all available legal actions will be taken to the full extent of the law. Their response was the same. No refund. I then sent a second e-mail that reads as follows; "You have helped yourself to my credit card without my consent and are refusing me the refund. Within the next 48 hours if I do not get a confirmation that all of my money will be refunded, the following actions will be taken; 1. A fraud charge back against Scoresense with my credit card company will be initiated. 2. A formal complaint against Scoresense with my state attorney general's office will be filed. 3. A formal complaint against Scoresense with the Federal Trades Commission will be filed. 4. A formal complaint against Scoresense with the Better Business Bureau will be filed. You have 48 hours from the date and time of this e-mail." The next day, I received a confirmation all of the charges will be refunded. The following day after that, all of the refund posted to my account. Had Scoresense continue the refusal of my refund, all of those actions would have been taken. They were not threats. They were my chosen courses of action. A class action suite campaign would have been the next step. Scoresense is a scam. Fact!

I had this exact issue. I appreciate this post and I'm trying to get back 10 months of charges as well.

I had no idea I signed up for this service when I got my credit report online. I am so frustrated with this company, they are unethical and a scam. I disputed the charge, they denied my refund. I will proceed with legal action because this is just wrong, is fraud and a scam.

I did not buy this service, want to buy this service or use this service. I was not even aware they were billing me. I rarely look at my statement and just make my payment online. No more.

I will start reviewing each statement in detail from now on.

I have been trying to speak with someone on your Care team and just sat on hold for more than 18 minutes after I asked to speak to a supervisor. I do not believe that you care to assist anybody. You've stolen my money from my account and I want it returned.

I have called twice to cancel my membership. The last time they said that it was canceled but since I had just paid for the upcoming month I had access until January 22. I was just charged another 29.99 for another month on January 23. What a scam! Do not register for ScoreSense. Cancellation is a scam!!!!

Taking money that doesn't belong to them

I happened to check my bank account to see if two bills had cleared. Just to find out that this company "debited" my bank account. I have never even heard of this company and have certainly NEVER authorized payment to them. I was actually out of town the day that this was charged to my account. I have worked with my bank and that information has since been destroyed and no longer valid. This company SUCKS!!! DON'T TRUST THEM! Karma is a *** and will come back to haunt this company for the wrong doings they have done with various customers.

A clever scam.

Was forced into signing up by a "partnered" website, for a "free" trial that auto-renews at a ridiculous price after 7 days if you do not actively CALL to cancel. So I called, and while the representative was very polite and *English speaking,* after I informed her that I was just calling to cancel, she of course asked why I wanted to cancel, so I told her plainly that I had no interest in the service and that I only signed up to proceed with their partner service. She then informed me of all the amazing services they provide, and said that she would like to keep my account active. I told her politely that I was just not interested and that I'm sorry but please go ahead and cancel. I was prepared for that much, but then she continued to offer me the service at a slightly discounted price. I declined. The price then dropped, and I was informed that they ensure/insure up to a million dollars of protection! I was annoyed at this point, but still politely declined. Once again, the price dropped all the way down to just 4.95, and she informed me, once again, that she would like to "go ahead" and keep my account active today. I said no sweetie, I'm not interested, please cancel my subscription. Finally, she agreed and let me go. I just received the email confirming my account has been cancelled. No harm done, but be prepared to deal with all of that.

Ripped off

ScoreSence,I have been paying 29.95 for around 13 months, I did not sign up or authorize any of it, it passed me because I thought the money was for something my wife ordered, and it turns out I have paying for a fraud, they got my numbers somewhere, where I do not know, I filed a complaint, and do not know where it goes from here, my email adress is raustrom@***.com, I wish someone could contact me with similar problems, these people need to be sued, or something to put them in their place, and stop them from screwing other people.

Me too, as they pretend to protect you from fraud they commit it! Never signed up for it , and they took out 29.95 from my account for 5 months, they are only returning the last 29.95 payment.

Virtually the exact same issue, only I signed up and called to cancel the same day but they did not cancel. I have been getting billed for almost 10 months, when I finally noticed the charge (I am guilty of not thoroughly reviewing my statement) I called the number and they claim they have the wrong email and that is why I have not been receiving any notification emails.

The ironic part is they were supposed to notify me of fraud and or any credit issues via email.....THEY HAD THE WRONG EMAIL FOR 10 MONTHS!!!

I explained to the customer service rep that they should have received email notifications that the email was not correct and CALLED ME!! They supposedly put in a refund request to the "financial department" and they are going to email me within 48 hours.

All the 1-800 numbers they have listed, I either get a fast busy signal or it doesn't connect.

I used to be able to get information I needed but then one day it was wiped out.

Cancellation & Charged

I called Customer Service to cancel the membership of $29.95 per month & was given a confirmation number. I was still charged. The number is; 4476****, please credit my account at once! The woman I spoke to, assured me, that this $29.95 would be credited to my account. Why was I charged the $29.95? I did call within the 7 day trial period. Your business should be reported to the Better Business Bureau for ripping me off. How ridiculous this is......I have never done this kind of business & sincerely hope that this will be corrected. Lesson learned!!!! Credit Sensor, popped up during my search for a home...

Long story short, I took them up on there offer, because I am always on top of 7 day trials welllllllll , these ppl could not be reached , when it came time to cancel services..

I contacted my bank(sorry *** Wells Fargo) and informed them of what was going on, and that reviews shows this may be a scam, mysteriously they got in contact with these ppl, and services was cancelled of course AFTER they got $29.95... Wells Fargo and Credit Sensor might be working together!!!!

SCAM!!!!!

Signed up to get my credit score for $1 and somehow did not see that they were going to charge me $30 a month. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS! Then if you want to cancel this trial you have to call them. AND they didn't send me a single email so I forgot about it for 4 months and didn't realize they were charging me. I thought someone had stolen my credit card number until I called and even after I told the woman I was upset she kept trying to get me to pay for stuff. So rude. Thanks for stealing money from a broke college kid ***
