Waste of money
I purchased my scooter in may of 2009. It didn't work from the moment that i put my key in the ignition.
Spent countless hours on the phone with customer service and several disconnects. I had to pay an additional $300 to get it running once I found a mechanic that would work on it once they found out it was Chinese made. It stopped running again and I refuse to get it fixed again with lest than 500 miles on it. oh and the company was suppose to reimburse me part of the $300, never saw a penny for those rude people.
if I had the time I Should have done something legally, but i think that it is too late now. Big Big purchase mistake, Bad Bad company.
Scooter Nitro Diappeared
I purchased a Machoman 250 in May, received delivery in June. Pretty good and runs OKk, but had severe electrical problems.
Took to mechanic and he had to fix a connector block by cutting and splicing the wires together. Now works ok and battery doesn't die anymore.
But, need some aprts and am still waiting. Ordere from Scotter Nitro in September and have not heard back. Can't find the website anymore.
Received 2 years parts when I bought the machine, but cannot get the Roket a parts now. Basically a throw-away scooter.
Use it, abuse it and let it die. Buy a Honda or Suzuki next time

I ordered a bahama 150 from scooternitro.com back in june. received with no immediately "VISIBLE" problems a month later.
After doing the post delivery inspection i found that:
1. there was no key to the rear mounted trunk.
2. the headlights did not work.
3. the cdi unit was defective and the scooter would not start.
on 8/17/08 i placed an order for replacement parts above, but never received a confirmation that my order was received or not.
a couple days later i sent an email to the sales department and was told...
"Our parts department is running about a week behind on the orders. Thank you, ScooterNitro"
i was a bit annoyed at the generic email but i dealt with it.
after receiving no additional info after nearly 2 weeks i send the email below
"hi it's been a couple weeks since i placed my order for replacement parts. at present i have received no status or parts. can you please tell me what's going on with the order?
to this question i was told:
"Most of the parts have been taking around 3-4 weeks to deliver. Other parts are currently on backorder. Thank you, ScooterNitro"
notice this email is extremely generic and neither addresses my order status nor whether or not all or a portion of my order is on backorder.
since receiving the pathetic email above on 8/31/08 i have sent 3 additional emails requesting SOMETHING! ANYTHING! regarding an order status with specifics.
as of 9/12/08 I HAVE RECEIVED NO RESPONSE TO ANY OF MY REQUESTS!!!
as i stated in the first part of this posting, i was initially satisfied with the overall delivery of my scooter. ***, i even put good comments about this online retailer on my website www.tidewaterscoots.com.
because of the *** POOR customer service that i have received since scooternitro.com received my money i can only say that................
I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND BUYING A HUBCAP FROM THIS RETAILER.
i've been way more than patient with this whole "replacement parts" thing. i haven't sent them ranting emails. i've been very respectful in all my correspondence with them
thus far i've been totally ignored. what can i tell you? i don't like being ignored.
all i asked for was a status. that request didn't seem like too much to ask for.
NOW, I'M JUST *** PISSED.

Scooter Nitro No No
Scooter Nitro does Not live up to there store advertisiment. There false and unreliable! I recieved my Machoman 260 Scooter Moped. upon unloading the scooter I found multiple scratches on the bike. Once assembled I could not start the moped. I had to pay for a replacement a fuse and labor cost. My trunk seat cushion was a dark brown. Not black as the rest of my interior. I was shown online the trunk and the interior was black. So the advertisiment was false. Scooter Nitro's reason was "the dark brown was the stock color. No black interior was availble.
When my replacment part for the scratched fendors, lights arrived. The fendor was already scratched on delivery. I then place another parts request for a second fendor.
As I was driving my Mochoman 260 Scooter I come to a slow stop. My scooter turns off? This continues each time I slow down to a stop. I was scared; as this is dangerous when driving. I paid a machanic to look over my scooter. and I was told I needed a replacement carburator. Gosh my scooter has less than 500 miles driven and its not driving.
As I wait for my parts I let my scooter sit. I go to start the scooter and it wont start up at all? Who knows what this problem is?
Im still waiting for my replacement carburator, fendor, odometer cover, signal light parts. Its been over a month and no status information has been sent to me. No tracking number and no delivery date given. I dont know if some one stold my items off my step or anything is going wrong?
I wont ever buy from scooter nitro ever, never again!
What happened to the scooter nitro web site? there is no web site? Is scooter nitro going out of business? Who knows? Cant get No answers from scooter nitro unless its about a part.
Scooter Nitro will be hearing from my lawyer :(

Scoooter nitro big disapointment
I've got my Machoman in September, slightly scratched. Put in a parts request and still waiting.
By the way their phone numbers are not valid anymore so I guess we got ripped off.And the trunk back rest, is the same color BROWN in all the models they did not have a black one at all !!!
One of my friends got it before I did he had to replace the carburator and to rearange his valves $ 600 but not with their parts.
We need to take action and do something about this now.These guys need to answer to the law.
Scooter Nitro does not deliver as promised
I'm another pissed Scooter Nitro customer. Ordered the Bali 150 in April.
Scooter received 4 weeks later was so damaged the trucking company called me an said they would not deliver. Immediately called my credit card company and put a hold on the payment. Contacted Scooter Nitro and told them the story. At first they wanted to just knock a couple of hundred off the purchase price.
I told them no way. They then agreed to send another scooter. It arrived after 4-5 weeks. 2 months later the battery dies.
Installed new one at my cost of $65. It dies 2 days later. Radio has never worked and I don't think it is even there. No antenna.
In line fuel filter leaks all the time. Still have not released payment and will not until I get a 100% operating scooter without any more expense on my part

I purchased my scooter in May 2008 the 1st bike sent out looked like it was in a crash. I finally received another bike in late July. It is now October and I have not receveied any replacement parts that were promised if I accepted the last bike. I am thinking of flying down to visit these crooks and take my own resolve to their knee caps.First these people lie and say send them the parts for replacement and they will send out new parts then they say , oh we don't send out the parts , the manufacturer in china sends the parts directly to you.

Nitro Scooter is a Rip-off
I purchased a Stealth 150cc in July. It arrived with a flat front tire. When they finally responded to e-mails, phone calls the answer was, "have it fixed." but no responsibility on their part. Wrote a letter to the Company President, no response. They did tell me they ordered a new tire that was four months ago which was another lie.
The battery went dead after two months, put a new one in still did not work. Had to take it to a mechanic & the amount of work involved was $240.
The company has moved from Missouri, you can't contact them & a class action suit should be instituted by the Attorney General of whatever state they now operate in. They are a complete fraud.

Ordered parts , 3 months ago. Still no parts .
Now there web site is down . Purchased a New machoman 260 an it was a 250 . Now can not get parts to make the dam thing run.
Warranty for 3 yrs.
I am not the only victim. Some I read there's was damaged in shipping.
To others , lets get a class action suit started . find the blame factory , get us the parts , or buy them back. if all agree , post it here an I will give you my ph. no.
I am sure the others out there would like to meet them face to face . Take your money then run .
Scooter Nitro has not delivered as promised
We ordered the Nitro Twister Scooter and the Vintage 150 from Scooter Nitro. They said free delivery and it would be 8-14 days.
Today is business day 18 and no sign of the scooter. Almost immediately after ordering, they said there would be a delay. On business day 18, I got tracking info for ONLY 1 scooter. They said they were promised the other by the end of the week.
So far, just stalling or inaccurate information. We BOTH work in the trucking industry so we checked the information they gave us and USF Holland said they were lying.
Scooter Nitro uses fraudulent advertising
I recently purchased a scooter from Scooter Nitro. When I placed my order their Ad stated that I would also receive a rear trunk, remote starter, and alarm system.
When my order arrived there was no remote starter or alarm system. After several inquiries to the company I finally received a reply stating "we no longer issue these items as they are causing charging problems and the manufacturer will no longer sell them." When confronted with the fact that their ad said these items would be included in my order and that they should offer something to replace them, they continued to blame the manufacturer, said they had since removed this offer from their ad and would not do anything else except make excuses. I finally had to take up this issue with the Better Business Bureau. After going round and round with them through the BBB complaint system they reluctantly sent me a helmet (too small by the way) for my troubles.
Why couldn't they just do the honorable thing and offer a replacement in the first place?

Purchased a Machoman360 scooter. Had problems with shoddy workmenship and defective parts from the very first week.
Had to replace carborator, seat, window, etc. Requested name of authorized dealer in my area, and gotten no response. They say find a mechanic and they will send parts, but why should I pay for labor on a brand new bike! Inferior workmenship and parts and horrible consumer support!
Currently have complaint with Consumer Affairs! I do not recommend this bike to anybody or even dealing with this vendor.
I am still waiting for parts that was ordered over 3 weeks ago! Do not buy from them!

Purchased a Bali 150 Touring (MC-13) scooter by Roketa their new name at ScooterNitro is Stealth 150 Touring (MC-13) but it is the same scooter . Had problems with speedometer and windshield the defective parts from the very first week. They said it would be about two weeks to get the parts. I got the windshield after two months and after three months ago and I am still waiting for my speedometer gage, puk hub and cable. I have contacted the company repeatedly by phone and email. They told me the parts where on the way.
I do not recommend this dealing with this vendor. Do not buy from them!
