Called to open a Claim
They do not answer or return calls. I called to open a claim for an auto accident. I left my name and number and never received a call back.
Wasted my time, money and still didn't fix the scooter!
I went to Scoot Inc to get my scooter working again, it had minor issues. They did do a good job changing the oil and gear fluid, other than that the service was horrible, the prices were crazy, and the advice didn't even add up when I asked a real expert.
I waited for a long time for John to even look at my bike ( 1 hour ) and had to wait because all I had was my bike to get around. Originally I had come in to have him check my battery I brought the battery in and he put it on the charger and the next day said it was fine and that it just needed more acid. He charged me 8 bucks to just charge the battery then told me it was fine. Turns out later that he had over charged the battery and it died again.
He told me the 3 chirps that my scooter made was to indicate my bike was in good working condition, I later learned that it was to remind me to take my keys. After a few days of my scooter being worked on I had to use the kick start again to get it moving. I took it this time to MR. MOPED he looked at the scooter and fixed the entire thing in 30 minutes.
He discovered the battery was overcharged and might have not been any good anyway, and gave me a new battery, he also found out that I had a loose connection with some wires he simply made a better connection to fix it. He also took my windshield off and welded a cracked piece I had that resulted from the windshield that was installed before I had bought the scooter. The battery cost me 40 bucks or less and the he charged me 60 for labor. At Scoot Inc I was charged somewhere around 160 and he didn't do anything right except the oil change and gear lube change.
Scoot inc was a waste of time and money. Please save yourself a trip and go to Mr Moped he's an older guy who has been doing things for many years.
