Extra Warantee/ Refuses to call me/ Want to cancel/ Lied to

I am unfortunately forced to write a review for the first time in my life. I bought a Jeep Wrangler on New Years Eve 2019 from Schumacher Jeep in Delray Beach FL. While in the finance room I was taken care of by a guy named AJ. He was trying his best to sell me the add on extras as they all do when you buy or lease a vehicle. I did not want them and kept saying no as I never buy these things. I was at the dealership for about 6 hours and was tired and just wanted to get out of there with my new Wrangler and go home for dinner. He finally said the extra wear an tear plan and wheel and rim protection was what he recommended. I said no no no. Finally he told me it included 2 oil changes and 2 tire rotations annually for the first 2 years. At this point I said yes as that seemed I would get something for my extra monthly payment and just wanted to get out of there. Well guess what, about a month later I received information from Jeep that the tire rotations and oil changes come with the lease! I called AJ on at least 4 occasions, maybe 5 and he never returned my call. I finally went to the dealership and asked to speak to AJ and was told he was busy. I explained that I wanted to return the extra protection plans that I was duped into by false information that AJ gave me. The employee told me that I would have to contact Allstate as that is the Insurer that handles that, not the dealer. So, I contacted Allstate and they told me that the dealership is where I can take care of that. Imagine that! This was just as the Covid Virus problem started so I was 3 months dealing with this with no resolve with Allstate. Allstate told me that they will contact Schumacher for me and voice my request and they will issue a refund and the amount already paid with my monthly payment. This was going on for 3 months and nothing, no call from Schumacher. I went on facebook the other day and spoke with Veronica who was very nice and said she would let AJ know that I needed a call back. No call. I messaged Veronica back that evening and told her that AJ never called me. She said she would send another request. I told Veronica at this point I am getting extremely upset and would like to have the GM give me a call the next day and was also messaged by a gentleman named Stan who also assured me that the GM would call me the next day. Well guess what, no call once again. I have never had a company ignore a request like this from a customer before in my life! Not even the decency of returning a call from a customer that bought their product? I am beyond irritated at this point and my next step is the better business bureau and every social media site I can find so other people can be aware of their practices and not get burned like me. All I want is to cancel this extra add on as I was duped into purchasing it and a refund of what I have spent on it thus far. But guess what? They do not even have the decency to return my many requests! I hope Schumacher will return my call before this becomes ugly. I just wish I had done my homework before I bought from Schumacher Delray Beach. Arrigo is just up the highway but I wanted to keep my business local, shame on me I guess.

Schumacher Jeep in Delray, worst dealership ever

My wife had an appointment at 9am this morning at Schumacher Jeep in Delray Beach, FL. She pulled in at 9am and no one greeted her until 9:40am. They apologized for the wait, and then made her wait again in the heat (outside...it's over 90 degrees here today) while they wrote up the repair order. There's too much to type in terms of the incompetence that abounded from that point forward. Suffice to say, by 1:30pm when she still hadn't heard anything from anyone (mind you, she's in the waiting area)...the service advisor said no one had even touched her Jeep yet. Naturally, she was beside herself. By now her boss has been texting her, asking what is taking so long. What was supposed to be a relatively quick appointment turned into an ALL DAY MISSED WORK event due to this dealer's incompetent staff. If you are looking to purchase a car from them, or have your Chrysler/Jeep/Fiat/Dodge serviced, you've been warned.

Schumacher Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram - Fiat Abarth 500 Review from Palm Beach, Florida

I got to say iam very sad about that I bought the car there. I bought the car cash i was important at that time but they promised parts for the car which have to be fixed they dont even call me back about it or I would say Josh Esche is the sales person at the used car department he promised it will be fixed but nothing. Left him a message no reply's..now a week went by and no reply's at all. Dont recommend anyone buying a car there espacially not from them there are not professional.

WORST CAR DEALERSHIP EVER!

If I could rate this with negative stars I would! I just finished buying a used Jeep from this dealership.... all I can say is that I will NEVER return, not even for FREE SERVICING! The sales person Aaron was awesome, but the management there is horrible and I feel so bad for Aaron having to work there! I choose this Jeep because I saw it online and it had everything I wanted.... I even searched over a week later and still nothing was out there equipped quite like this one .... and I had to BEG for a negotiated deal. Once negotiated, it was futile to get anything else from them. ONLY ONE KEY???? This vehicle was a 2015 with only 9000 miles and you are telling me you can not provide me with another key??? No... they wanted me to buy another one... and they did not fix the front alignment like they promised (so I had to spend money getting that done by myself).... and there were also some minor scratches I asked to be removed and they refused that also... the common answer was "It's a used car, what do you expect?" I EXPECT customer service ... I have dealt with Pompano Ford since 2008 and I am truly sorry they did not have a Jeep or even something similar for me to buy... but I will go back to Pompano Ford for all my service needs because they KNOW HOW TO TREAT A CUSTOMER... I will be sure my next vehicle will be from Pompano Ford.. .no matter what.... STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM SCHUMACHER!!! Do yourself a favor and go to Pompano Ford... they treat customers exactly like family.... Schumacher only "claims" they treat you that way... if my "family" treated me how Schumacher treated me I would certainly disown my family..... it is a shame that they can spend MILLIONS OF DOLLARS on advertising but won't spend a few extra dollars taking care of customers. Shame on them.
