Scanlon Carpets

I am a builder and remodeler in the North King / South Sno area, and have used Scanlon for years. They give great service, fair pricing, have a really helpful attitude, and have stood by their products.

I have had them put carpet in my own house, and pricing and workmanship was fantastic. I've recommended them repeatedly, and never have had any bad feedback. Also, my past customers have gone back to Scanlon, because the experience was so good. Like the last reviewer said, you get nothing like this at the box stores.

I don't know what was up with that first review. In my experience, these guys are great.

I am surprise to hear anyone had a bad experience with Sconlon.

Scanlon Carpet has been a great partner for me in the remodeling industry. They have given me decent products, worked with my customers OK, and their installers do nice work, and fine-tune it if you ask. their follow up service has saved my repoire with customers a couple times now.

their prices are competitive with the box stores. And you get nothing like their service when you go to Home depot, and I go there a lot, so I now how bad big-box special orders and installers suck; I've been there and done that. Small businesses rock for a lot of reasons, and Scanlon is a good one.

This is in response to the complaint on Scanlon Carpets, claiming that the owner is a thief. This post is almost 5 years old, but we only just recently discovered it.

This complaint is indeed bogus. The customer contracted Scanlon Carpets to install carpet in her rental through a property management company with whom we have an ongoing business relationship. She paid the deposit to do the job on her credit card. When the job was finished, and we tried to collect the rest, the property management company told us we needed to contact her because they no longer worked with her (and that she was a little crazy!).

Upon contacting her, she told us she did not have the money to pay for the rest, and to not try to put it on her credit card because it was no longer good. Since she indeed owed us the money, we tried the card anyway. It went through, and we received no repercussions for putting it through, because she didn't have a leg to stand on. She was pissed because she was forced to pay for it, but we did nothing wrong.

SHE was trying to be the thief!!

Do not use Scanlon Carpets in Everett WA.

I had an agreement with this company to charge 1,000 down payment of the cost of services to credit card and make payments on the balance. The owner did the partial then then charged the balance to the card even after he was told he did not have permission to charge the balance.

Credit card is now after him for the disputed amount charged on card...his comment was take me to small claims court.

Don't need to with credit card dispute. This is a nasty, unethical man you do not want to do business with.
