Shelve has damage and paint quality poor - can see knots through paint
I ordered a shelf through amazon in the old cottage white for my daughter's room. Item arrived within the projected time window and the color & measurements are true to the images provided.
It is also nice that the item arrived fully assembled as described. I am unhappy that the back side panels both have dents in them from what looks like a strap (except there was no strap on the piece in the box). This is likely happened pre shipment.
Also, the paint, while appearing to be thick shows several dark knots through it.. I won't be doing business through this company again due to the poor quality of the piece.
Shoddy Quality Control
I received a garbage bin as ordered. Unfortunately, the door is not affixed correctly so that an unsightly gap exists on the right side.
The wood panels making up the two sides are warped, which further causes problems with the door fitting properly. For $200, I would expect a better quality product. I contacted the company but have not received a reply. When I left a review on their website, I realized that all of the website reviews are censored, which explains why they have all 4- and 5-star reviews.
I thought I was buying a quality product.
I was so, so wrong. Beware of this company.

Does not stand by product
This company does not stand by their product! We spent a lot of money with this client and made some pretty large pieces.
The product that they carry, over time, begins to show pines knots. They claim that they inform you of this but when all my correspondence is done over email and I go back and read everything, there is absolutely no mention of this. Along with the ugly pine knots showing through on their furniture, there white paint began to yellow horribly. They also claimed that is was the poly they put on the furniture and they also told me it would yellow over time.
Once again, there was no mention of this via email. If there was I can be certain I would never have bought this for a client to begin with. We were willing to get this entire shelving system sanded down and completely repainted if they would be willing to pay for the paint and labor. We were already having to inconvenience our client but they said no.
They claimed that they tell everyone that knots begin to show and that they white from their poly begins to yellow. My question is, who would buy this ever if they knew this?
Don't ever buy from them. They lie to cover themselves and they don't deliver high quality products.
Sawdust city, false promises on delivery
I am a retailer that ordered from this sign maker for the first time. Before ordering, I shopped arounded.
All the other companies quoted a month to six weeks production, so I chose them...as they quoted a week and a half of production time. I placed my order on Sept 23, 2009 and I still don't have my order. When I wrote the company a letter, they actually told me that they were still within the quoted timeline because I didn't place my order till Oct 6th. My question is WHERE WAS MY ORDER FOR THE ENTIRE TWO WEEKS from Sept 23-Oct 6th?
Anyway, I posted this so if any other retailer looks into buying from them, they hesitate if they are in a time crunch.
The company has not yet been accountable to their not kept promises, they actually thought I would believe them when they changed my order date. I am a retailer...I'm not ***.

I want to update this review. The company is replacing the defective product.
They gave me the option of a full refund, but zi really like the bin and will return it for a replacement. I regret my hasty negative review.
