I have been told so many lies such as your phone is getting ready to be shipped, my phone was shipped, my account is on hold, etc., etc. but my call a few minutes ago was very interesting and infuriating.
I demanded to know where my replacement phone was and was told TracFone is waiting for a shipment.
I was irate and told the customer service person I didnt believe him. His next reply really angered me. He told me they are having trouble keeping up with orders because, ready for this, they are giving out thousands of free phones everyday. I exploded and yelled, Youre giving out free phones to all the illegal border crossers and to just about anyone else who wants one, and they get them within a day or two.
I paid for my phone and cant even get a replacement after 3 weeks.
He apologized, and I hung up!
Actually, I think his statement was a slip of the lips or he just didnt give a damn. TracFone Customer Service are three words that should not be linked together.

Tracfone SCAM. Buyer Beware!

If you google tracfone, this company saveontracphonedotcom comes up with a website that looks just like tracfone’s website. i ordered a sim and 45$ phone card in April.
The card number I received was invalid.
I challenged through paypal and was emailed with another number to use. this number did not work either but then my window to challenge through paypal had closed and phone calls and emails to the company have been completely ignored.
