Dutch Glow Scam

Sas Group - Dutch Glow Scam
Sas Group - Dutch Glow Scam
I paid 34.38 for Dutch Glow that was for the bottle of cleaner, shipping, insurance and processing charges. They included another bottle for 7.95 shipping plus processing charges and insurance again. The only thing the product will do is clean mirrors and that not very good. If I return the product I will loose money because I will have to pay for the shipping again. I will take my lose and go on down the road. I wish there was someone I could file a complaint with that would get this scam artist shut down and make them return everyone's money. I followed their instructions to the letter.

Total Scam at Buyers Expence

I thought this was the answer to baked on grease on my pans.what a rip off,no matter how I mixed product I had the same result , it did NOT remove anything even after soaking for 15 minutes before scrubbing. What a scam, the tv sales pitch was a total lie. The real SCAN is when you return product. They only return the cost of $14.95 and No shipping which is almost $16.00. And hear is the insult to injury, you also have to pay to return product which comes out to be in total about 125 % more than the product cost. We need this company shut down an buyers to receive a full refund on all cost of this worthless product.

Awesome Auger- Ripoff. Get these instead

I found these on Amazon, both have free shipping and both have 4 or 5 stars and PLEASED customers, unlike this ripoff artist company SAS Group whos marketing the awesome auger through thill logistics (fulfillment) and scamming people for unrefundable shipping and handling after making it impossible to back out of error-filled automated orders. Also noticed original company put out a lawsuit on the distributor for shortening them to save shipping from china where they were mfg. Try these, I am. Dont order Awesome Auger!

Dont order awesome auger, I called their 800 number and their phone system took my NO as a YES to order a drill and had NO way to go back and correct it, on calling customer service they claim the calls go to NY and they have to wait for them to reach the fulfillment center in Wisconson (355 byrd ave, Neenah, WI). They claim the automated system belongs to the people in NY. (I searched the web and found a case involving them with thill, theyre SAS Group Inc.) who are using Thill as their fulfillment company. SAS group apparently ripped off the original designers of the auger (Versatile Housewares & Gardening Systems Inc.) and are now marketing it themselves ? wasnt sure by the case.. When calling SAS GROUP, INC.Address: 200 WHITE PLAINS RD TARRYTOWN NY 10591 Owner/Operator Phone: 914-332-**** none of their boxes answer, including MR. MICHAEL SOBO the CEO. This is a scam. They rip you off for the shipping and handling fees, make it impossible to cancel in time before it being shipped out after the order reaches the Thill Logistics fulfillment center (Joyce O'Connell, Administrative Services Manager Phone Number: (920) 967-****) and dont refund the handling or shipping once you have to return it... I have been trying desperately to cancel before this happens. Not only will the automated system hawk other items to you it will order them for you when you say NO to them, they ask for your credit card info in the beginning of the call. Never again will i order when they ask for credit card info FIRST. Put the dot before the COM in this lawsuit address to view it (this site may not permit links) wi.findacase com/research/wfrmDocViewer.aspx/xq/fac.%5CFDCT%5CEWI%5C2009%5C200912**_**01075.EWI.htm/qx

I am one of those people who does not like to give my credit card # for just that reason. You cannot trust anyone.

Especially since corporations are out sourcing business which not only opens AMERICANS up for identity fraud but also takes away our jobs. I have found that most of the items advertised on TV can be found at BED BATH & BEYOND. There you can use their 20% discount coupon (which they even take expired ones) as well as avoid paying the outrageous shipping and handling. I don't know am I the only one who cannot understand why we must pay a company to take the merchandise off the shelve to send to us?

I understand reasonable shipping charges, but what the heck are handling charges? Call your credit card company and report the fraud.

They will work with you to erase charges while they put a hold on the charges to be paid on your card. Also this sounds like a great case for the better business bureau.

SAS Group Complaint

My experience with SAS Group mirrors Sheldon's exactly. There is no way - either online or by phone - to cancel an order or to talk to anyone about anything. I have tried by phone a couple of dozen times - both the sales number and customer service. Thanks to Sheldon, I tried the SAS number Sheldon listed. Of course, Michael Sobo was not available. I left an appropriate message, but I'm sure Mike won't call me back. I will refuse the delivery, and my credit card company has agreed to dispute the charge when it is posted. And, of course, I will continue to leave messages for Mike. How some folks earn a living!

I have had similar dealings with this company also and I would never buy from them again. They should be prosecuted for their way of doing business and the way they seem to be near impossible to contact.

Prodcut: Container Lids set of 4. Offer: Buy 1 set Get 1 Free for only $10. Just pay separate $7.95 P&h. Once you submit order you get a confirmation that shows $15.90 p&H NOT $7.95 as the wording they use tricks you into thinking $7.95 is P&H charge. Then it is IMPOSSIBLE TO CANCEL your order while they charge your credit card and make shipment. Complaining by phone or e-mail to the co. doesn't help. They might give you a complicated way to return shipment and get your $10 back, but not the p&h. I did battle with co, advised my credit card co., wrote to Better Business Bureau and State Attorney General and got full refund. If you get package you don't want, mark REFUSED - RETURN TO SENDER and get a receipt from you post office. Company is SAS Group ... 200 White Plains Rd. , Tarrytown, NY 10591. (914) 332-****. Mike Sobo, Pres. This information pretty well hidden -- but now you have it! Do everything to get this co. to stop scamming customers!

This company is a total scam, and the people that work there are *** as well.

I agree, at the bottom of the outlined ad, it says *free w/separate p&h". Anyone who buys online should read every little word on every page to make sure they understand first. Hopefully this info was on the page when you ordered.

You must get tricked a lot in life. I just looked at their web site again and anyone who can read and comprehend at a third grade level can understand their ad. God help you.
