RIPPED OFF BY DEALERSHIP

When I brought my car to SB Auto Group/Audi my thoughts were, Factory trained technicians would be working on my car, it would be properly diagnosed and repaired. Now, after two failed attempts and $3,000 THREE-THOUSAND- DOLLARS, my car sits broken down with the same issue that it had before I brought it in to SB AUTO GROUP/AUDI and before I paid them $3,000.

Twice, after picking up my car from your dealership, I've had the instrument cluster short out, all car functionality shut down, toxic smoke fills the interior of my car to the point where I can't see or breath, traveling 40 mph on a winding road. Sycamore Canyon road. The second time my daughter was in the car with me. I'm extremely upset that I paid $3,000 THREE-THOUSAND-DOLLARS to SB AUTO GROUP/AUDI and as a result put myself, my family and the general public health and safety at great risk The first cluster replacement ($1,700+) there were many functions not working that worked before. No diagnosis before or after as to why it went bad.The second cluster, no charge< Diagnosis: Coolant leak from bottom of coolant reservoir dripped onto wiring, traveled down the wire then back up the loop through the engine compartment firewall into the water proof box w/ECU, through the ECU, up the wiring through the cabin firewall up the wire to the pin connectors on the back of the cluster thus causing it to short out.

Repair: Remove wet wire replaced with dry wire ($1,200). That is exactly how it was explained to me from your mechanic. He showed me the back of the cluster connector so I could see that the coolant had left a tell tale sign. I had no idea what I was looking at or what I was looking for but I'm not an AUDI mechanic.

The diagnosis, to me, sounded incredulous, ridiculous and absurd. I'm extremely upset that I paid SB AUTO GROUP/AUDI $3,000, THREE-THOUSAND-DOLLARS. I don't believe any diagnostic work was performed. Twice the repairs were shoddy, sub par and a *** job.

The last one compromised the integrity of the water seal on the ECU box. Those repairs ultimately put myself, my family and the general public at risk. I feel that I've been conned and ripped off for the sum of $3,000, that's THREE-THOUSAND-DOLLARS. I did what was asked of me, to pay for the services.

Audi did not do their part in providing those services. I feel that the integrity of SB AUTO GROUP/AUDI, same as the water seal on my car, has been compromised as well. I paid for my car to be repaired.

I should be driving my car. I believe SB AUTO GROUP/AUDI can resolve this issue without further action being necessary.
