Sanford has yet to resolve a single issue of mine without CHI finishing the job for them. Also, if you want to talk to them you'd better not have any sort of social anxiety because your only option to talk to someone is to sit on the phone and talk to someone who has no clue what they're talking about and set you up for another office visit. That office visit will be just to discuss your next office visit and from there they'll refer you to a specialist who will start the office visit cycle all over again and may stuff you full of some pulls that do nothing for you but give you side effects.

At one time they at least had good nurses but they don't even have that anymore and their pain management is!

Patient Awareness

My daughter was taken by ambulance to Sanford care and suffered injuries to her sternum during cpr that were excruciatingly painful alongside pneumonia. Her oxygen levels dipped well below the level it should.

Staff held her down or pushed her head down to restrain her from taking out her nasal oxygen when she would wake up and have to *** She was sick and cranky so expressed this. They said she was rude and denied anymore visitors. I asked for patient complaint form and was treated very rudely. I called the ambulance to transport her to Avera.

Staff threatened her said they wouldn't give her oxygen and would make her walk to ambulance cuz she wouldn't be using their wheelchair. She improved rapidly once at average. THEY are wonderful.

SHAME ON U SANFORD. U HAVE NO BUSINESS TREATING PEOPLE THE WAY U DO!!!
