First experience with an 'audiologist'. BAD

I was just sent, by my ins. co. to San Juan Hearing, in Farmington, NM., and it was a shocking experience, to say the least. First, in their Yellow Page ad they say (This is a direct )cut and paste "Call us today to schedule an appointment to see Dr Jones." This refers to the owner Timothy Jones, the only person in the office, aside from a clerk, out front. Timothy Jones admits (two weeks ago) that he only has a Master's Degree. He's no doctor! He only carries ONE brand, Resound. Jones touts his sophisticated equipment, and the supposed cost of it, as though cost makes this business honorable. In reality, he only has common things easily available in the internet. A Hi-Pro programmer, another smaller version programmer, and an Audioscan Verifit, and that's it. When asked anything , Jones bristles, and becomes belligerent, while never answering your question. Here's another clip from their YP ad " 45 day money back guarantee." Sure, if you don't like the ONE and ONLY aid he sells, you can return it, but you WILL BE CHARGED $245. Spend your thousands elsewhere.
