The worst pet hospital of San Francisco

How could a non profit turn away a completely broke person who has spent tens of thousands dollars with them before? My senior dog is running 106 fever and they turned me around because they could not provide any care free of charge, even though I've spent over $20,000 with them in the last 10 years with my animals. I am completely broke now, without even a dollar to my name. My animals are what keeps me in this world.

The staff is so rude, my dog could not hold balance, but the technician did not care and pulled on him until he fell yelping in pain.

I cannot believe that a hospital that is non profit and has received millions in donation each year cannot help me and my service dog.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS THERE.

They are money making machine without a heart.

PET UNLIMITED, SAN FRANCISCO

Take your pet to Pets Unlimited if you have A LOT OF MONEY to spend and really DO NOT CARE about your pet. Please read till the end.

I took my cat there, because she did not eat for the last two days. After a 3 hours wait in their lobby, the doctor gave me an estimate, $100 for the visit, $1323, or may be more for the blood and urine tests.

When I said it is kind a steep because, I have been doing that around $300 for years, they said they will drop the urine test and charged me $520.

During the visit I told them my 17 years old cat had been suffering from hyperthyroid for the last 3 years, please make sure to include T4 levels in blood test so we know the hyperthyroid status which is number 1 cause with this illness.

The doctor told me white blood cells are high, possible infection some place, small kidneys other then that, she is fine, and send me back with an antibiotic.

My cat did not eat or drink another 3 days (food nor their medicine). I took her back when she clearly 1 or 2 days to live, wanted to speak with the doctor, and show the lab results, because I could not see T4 level measurement that was the most important thing in her blood test.

The doctor refused to see me, unless I pay for the visit. I told them, all I'm asking is a pain killer so my cat passes a way with less pain while holding her suffering body in my arms.

I stated calmly, that I'm not going to make an issue that they totally screwed up on blood test, charging me $520, and not helping my cat, just give me something to ease her pain.

They said, I need to leave if I do not pay for the visit again.

As I promised them here I'm sharing my PET UNLIMITED experience with you.

They are non-profit organization, PLEASE do not confuse this with lower prices, that is just a scheme for tax deduction.

They think they make you sign an estimate says, you will pay $1328 initially, but it can go higher any time, if it needs to!, because they are serving RICH PACIFIC HEIGHTS.

They are full of incompetent, greedy, doctors, nurses, and counter people.

My dying cat in my lap as I'm writing this, I would not recommend anyone to take their pets there.

sorry...

My 17 years companion, just died in my arms. at 10am sharp.

I washed her and took it to PET UNLIMITED, showed them the cat they deny to give a pain killer on her last breath, DEAD !!

I took picture her in my arms in PET UNLIMITED. Told the other client my cat was alive 2 hours ago here, when they deny the doctore from me. They did not like it, invited me out.

What else I can say?

-Glen

The doctors involved:

Dr. Shanna Compton

(did not ask for T4 levels which we needed, miss diagnosed her)

Dr. Randy Bowman

(refused to give pain killer to who had two hours to live, without a full visit charge.)
