Losing over 2k

They completely screw up my trip to china, April 23rd when i apply and paid the $350 for for the visa (embassy fees are 140) they guaranteed me to get my tourist Chinese visa no later than the may 7th for my trip on the 10th. Cynthia ask me to provide my inbound flight to China no return was needed for her .... finally when i contact them on May 3rd, oups they probably just started with my application by dropping it at the embassy and then embassy requested return flight which i provided right away, then no news from Alex or Cynthia all i was told was "this is in the hand of the embassy, they process according to travel time dont worry" to make story shorter, i never got my visa on may 10th i had to request to have my passport back to continue my travel plan to Europe. I had to write a letter to the embassy to have my passport released finally late yesterday. I had to cancel non refundable flights from Austin to Beijing and from Beijing to Oslo (norway) on the 16th and book a expensive last minute flight from Austin to Oslo on May 15 to not lose all the money i put in my travel plan till may 31. They dont even answer my phone calls nor my emails, refused to provide me documentation with date and fact how they handled my application. I really feel they discriminate me because im not Hispanic and i speak English with a strong french accent. They are not professional at all this place is a spam and i would advise anyone to look somewhere else, i wish i did. My husband did his application with CIBT later than me and got his visa after 5 days and has same nationality same travel etc than me, so this was not the Chinese embassy the one to blame but just Cynthia and Alex on not handling my application like they would have with and Hispanic or born American. If you need a visa or passport i advise you to look somewhere else.
