Post Purchase Customer Service Reps SUCK!!!

Debbie and Amanda from Sam Swope Auto Group on Hurstbourne Pkwy gave false information. The halfwits were rude!

They provide inadequate customer service. They also ended the call before follow-up questions could be asked. I WILL NOT SHOP SAM SWOPE AGAIN.

While the salesman was quite amicable, he too gave false information regarding the maintenance coupon package.

He specifically said that I could have my car serviced, using those coupons, at any SAM SWOPE service center, yet the coupon specifically states that the service must be received at that specific address rather than any Sam Swope facility. I would not have purchased that package had I known the truth.

2004 Jeep Wrangler Review

I got screws by Sam swope....I bought an 04 jeep wrangler unlimited and I've put 3000 dollars and counting. There is a longer story to all this but beware of their used cars

Misdiagnosed problem repair further damaged car they would not stand by poor word which cost consumer $1000 to have another mechanic fix

Bought used car. Problem identified during test drive.

Sam Swope agreed to fix as a condition of the sale. We were treated VERY poorly. Due to incompetence of Swope mechanics. They misdiagnosed the problem.

Replace strut but improperly installed the strut which damaged the upper and lower strut mounts. Michel Tires discovered problem was wheel bearing that had actually melted to the knuckle. They also discovered strut put on my Swope was installed incorrectly. Swope would NOT stand behind their work so cost us $1000 out of pocket due to Swope incompetence and horrible customer service.

They treated the customer horribly and will not stand by their work.

They also sell bad used card. BEWARE

I am no mechanic, but even I know that you cannot install a strut improperly. Sounds like Michael Tires got their money lol.

Sounds like Michael Tires saw you coming from a mile away! They always do.

I have been taking my car to Swope for years and they do a great job. I have no complaints.

Never trust those tire guys. It is just a bunch of kids with no experience hanging parts on cars.

I have contacted Ron Overstreet for two days now. Left phone messages three times. I have not heard back from him.

My husband passed away and I changed my address to get all the paper work sent to my new address. They advised me for 8 weeks the address was changed.

When the paper work was sent in they used my old address and my tags went to that address and were lost. They will not do anything about this and they made the mistake. Sam swope will only blame me and tells me I need to fix the mistake. Never again will I buy a car from these people.

Customer Service is the worst I have ever dealt with. The lies is what really makes you upset,

My husband worked for this company for 4+ years and this is just par for the course. Add on top of it that they refuse to sell you a car in their "advantage plan" if you don't speak English.

The fact that Ron Overstreet contacted you and promised to help you and then never got back to you -- well, welcome to the world of promises made and not kept by this dealership. No one should ever do business with them.

Instead I got we will not do anything to help you.

Service dept damaged my car and didn't own up

i bought my car from Sam Swope there service dept replaced struts on the front of my car after an agreement when I bought the car bc a noice was adressed at the time of purchase. They did the work then told me they no longer wanted to work on my car and to go somewhere else, a month later had more problems with my car to find out the work they did further damaged my car resulting in me paying out of pocket for there shotty work that coated me over 1000.00, I took them to small claims court they lied to they judge.

I am furious bc I'm unemployed and have been dealing with them and my car since I bought it in dec 2012, there service dept are incompetent and liars.

I would never trust them again, let alone buy a car from them EVER. Sam Swope sucks!

Would not honor warranty

Took my car in four times and had to take it back four times.They are rude and very unprofessional The transmission went out and went out the next day again.They forgot to put the wheel well back in and the car locked up on the expressway took the car in for warranty and they tried to charge me 2oo dollars and would not work on the car contacted susuki and was told to go to another dealership 150 miles away Never buy a car from sam swope they have the worst service in the city very very unhappy

I can also say that sam swope do not honor there warranty. In the process of taking legal action against them f ing thieves

Well, your problem is not a surprise. My husband worked for Sam Swope in the 'buy here, pay here' department for over 4 years.

He would routinely come home and tell me how the Swopes were selling cars with really high mileage on them, then telling customers they'd had a 150 point inspection -- and how it was outright lies. Apparently, they had so many cars coming back, cars that caught on fire, cars that flipped because the brakes locked - oh, but they inspected them. Riiiiight. Apparently, the reason the cars weren't being inspected is because Patti Swope had the service department so busy with upsells from the oil changes (they were really pushing those) that they service department 'didn't have time' to do the inspections.

Yep. It's true. And the funny thing is that the Swopes have this site called SamSwopeCares. What a joke.

They ONLY care about getting your money and maintaining their reputation in the community - but they'll let you drive out the door with a car that has never been inspected. CorporateRacism(dot)com

About the undercoating to prevent rust

In 2002 we bought a new dodge ram 1500 pick-up we knew that we would have this truck till the end of our lifes .So when we ordered it we had it undercoated to prevent rust . well we have had a tree to fall on it and 2 other accident tell me when we had the vehicle collasion fixed do they undercoat the parts that they replace or is the undercoating not that good. i have become disable and we are raising 3 grandkids and can not afford to pay to have them replaced .and the dashboard top is cracking .can you help me with these 2 problems or point me in the right direction I love my pickup and only wanted American made product

All Dodge dashes rack and disintegrate. You can buy an aftermarket cover pad fr about $125 at Advance , Auto Zone etc. and it glues right over the old damaged dash and looks like new.

I think after ten years,some things like that just wear out.plastic dash boards are the worst.and replacement parts arent usually coated unless you pay more.

Same Swope sucks at selling cars

Sam swope is a terrible company. their service is poor, their service department is frustrating and they're full of sheet.

I made the mistake of purchasing a car there in the past (at swope infiniti in Louisville) and they made more mistakes than I can count.

During the time I had this "certified pre-owned" car, I had to take it into the dealership for maintenance at least 7 times, several features didn't work, and they told me after I had made the purchase that it only came with one key and the floor mats were missing. Trash.

Swope Service Center in Louisville, KY

My son took his Infinity to have it detailed. It was parked outside in a NO protected lot.

Someone in the Service Center stold his GPS/Telephone Radio. It was locked. $900 worth of radio gone. Someone opened the door, took the radio, then broke the window, as the glass was scattered evenly all over both seats, like it was an after thought.

Another guy had his $2500 stereo taken. Steve the manager, said it was left unlocked, but it was the Center who drove it across the street and parked it. I had just purchased a new car from them. They offer the first oil change free and were allowing customers to win additional oil changes.

When I had my 1000 mile change, the guy before me was really pissed, as they rotated his tires and told him the free oil change was going to be $20. He was not expecting it. That is really unethical to do work on a car without asking the customer first. I always rotate my tires first.

I have two free oil changes left, but *** if I will ever go back to Swope.

They are unethical and just plain ***!
