No notice of primary care physician going on leave. Backups inept. Abusive administrators.

Issue not resolved. SMMG continues its tailspin.

The Aunt Mary's Medical Group motto: "Administrators first, patients last." Without prior notice to me, my GP, Dr. Calvanese, took an indeterminantly-long leave of absence (she'll likely will never be back).

In her place: a nurse practitioner (unqualified to prescribed my medications), and a PA-C (who refuses to respond to my requests for a phone call - in part to discuss which labs to get drawn, prior to coming in, as was Dr Calvanese's custom). Overall: sub-par, when compared to Dr. Calvanese. The PA-C's malfeasance was so bad it prompted a NV Health Board complaint against her.

To make things worse, administrators Valerie Garner and Krissy Scheuerman chronically drop the ball (they'll pledge to phone you, but then won't). Their boss, Crystal Lopez (the so-called executive director), has proved herself to be a patient abuser. By all means risk your health with Aunt Mary's Medical Group: you'll get "treatment" that aspires to the level of VA hospitals, prisons, and third-world countries. Make an appointment with Aunt Mary's Medical Group today!

Are they are unreliable, screw-up losers?

Without doubt. But they don't care, they don't have to.
Pros:
  • Previously ok
Cons:
  • Care seteriorated to level of a va hospital

Preferred solution: As requested four times: have PA-C phone me.
