Received both mail and email that claimed denial from Sage stream llc. I wasnt denied for the auto lease.
They try to get people to request report but to do this requires giving personal info like SSN.
Some complaints online even say person was asked to verify identity by sending in pics of front and back of drivers license. This is dangerous!

Totally inaccurate records

Paula brought the mail in this evening and in the stack were several envelopes from Ally Bank.
Imagine my shock when I read, first the denial and then the reasoning for the denial.
First off, lifting our credit freezes did absolutely no good. Evidently Braun considers "due diligence" a Pontius Pilate exercise. They, and Ally, assert that they considered Trans Union, Equifax, and (some fly by night) Sage Stream reporting agencies.
They also assert that the Trans Union and Equifax were not available. I'll skip the explitive that comes most readily to mind.
So moving to Sage Stream.
They cite a negative recommendation based on:
1-Distance between address and area code of phone
2-Limited history at this address
3-Limited history at this phone
4-Too few active accounts
I have, in hand, a Trans Union credit report less than one week old. It shows an unblemished record for greater than 10 years!
As far as the citations from Sage Stream go how can a phone number from central Florida be too far from an address in central Florida?
Evidently, 5 years at our present address with a history of mortgage, auto lease, utilities, and HOA aren't enough. Ally and Braun never questioned this damaging and inaccurate information.
So now my disappointment in the interest rate has heated to the point of anger and mistrust.

INCORRECT CREDIT REPORTING

I've been able to get credit cards without issue. I wanted to get a Verizon credit card because they offered $5 off of their bill if you used this credit card.
They went thru this "Sagestream LLC" to get a credit report on me. They came back with 379. I didn't even know that was possible.
My credit score is in the low 700's. I don't don't where this number came from, but an attorney is in my very near future.
