The first 2 days were spent studying online test. Very few of the questions were on the actual test. I passed all written tests because I studied and highlighted the CDL manual. The classroom videos were very outdated and material was nonsense as far as actual knowledge about a truck driving career. People were given grants, fell behind schedule no shows, late for class etc and given answer sheets to tests to keep the grant money flowing. The... Read more

I've been at this school for 5 weeks now. Every single student has failed the cdl test. I've only seen one student pass the test after he failed it twice. This Sage school in Henderson, CO actually trains you on an automatic truck with a very small cab and a small trailer, however, you are then required to take the actual cdl test in a huge Peterbuilt standard transmission truck with a huge 53 foot trailer attached, which behaves VERY... Staff is not sure how to do a refresher course, office staff doesn't seem to care, scheduled for 2 weeks of training 40 hours, in a week had 12hours training, holding me up from my new job position no one is sure what to teach me or what I'm supposed to be doing very frustrating learning environment .

My son went to the Sage Trucking School in Ft. Pierce. He has a felony from 18 years ago and was told that wouldn't be a problem finding a job. I co-signed for the school tuition. After he got his CDL he couldn't find a job because of his felony. After a month he called the director who put him in touch with a trucking company and they gave him a job. But the company paid him the first month of driving but not the 2nd month - very crooked... Read more

The Director Bonnie Babcock is the worst person. She treats her staff with disrespect and talks down to them. She has no idea what what she is doing. Has no experience in directing a CDL school. The students hate having to deal with her and will rather just not talk to her. Bonnie Babcock should be fired!!! Read more

The ladies who work there are made up of drama. The instructors are so tired of the same Ole same ole, they forget to teach most of the students proper pre-trip. If you are a feel sorry case they give you as many chances to re-take your test. If your not they tell you that you need to pay 350.00 to retake it! I personally feel that the receptionist, conducted herself unprofessional. You don't disclose personal information to any students about... Read more

Their director is a joke. She seriously has no clue about anything to do with driving truck. She is an absolute *** and makes the entire company look ***. The chick has been fired from every job she ever had and has a driving record from ***. Yet she is their director!! She argues, and talks down to people in there that have worked a lot longer than her. She really thinks she is something special. She did not get hired for her experience or... Read more

I just finished sage in san Antonio Texas, they met all of my expectations and help me acquire my cdl. They can only teach you ,but you have to apply yourself to learn. They are not your momma and daddy so you have to man up and make yourself learn. I can say nothing bad about them because they taught me and I am not the smartest person in the cart. If you have spare time then study instead of TV or drinking, if you take training seriously you... Read more
