on 04/10/2019 i called dominique russell about a claim i initially called in about. when i talked to him i told him to close the case because i was going to pay for auto repairs myself.
i thought everything was taken care of.
on 04/12 the owner of the car that was damaged received a call that said safety was sending out payment. i have receipt to show i paid in full please close case as i do not want surcharge on my policy

My son became disabled in 2012, we were hoping for him to go on remission but he didn't and was disabled so we kept a policy on his car active but eventually we had to make a decision to get him off our policies as a driver and also cancel his policy under his own name about 3 years ago by contacting my agent by phone and email i was told by Safety that my son was no longer listed as a driver and his insurance was canceled, I took her word that all was taken care of (I have 3 cars and my house insured with them thru payroll deduction) came to find out Safety never actually canceled the payroll deduction on my son's policy, they canceled him as a driver but the payroll deduction thru my employer was still taken out for 3 years at 1,500 per year, we never knew because everytime we called or emailed them to make sure my son wasn't listed as a driver or had an active policy they kept telling us that he was ok and was no longer on a policy BUT they never stopped the payroll deduction, until they sent us a renewal on his car effective Feb 2019 and we called that is when we found out. My husband called and they said that we were supposed to go online to cancel???
and that nothing safety can do about reimburse us for the thousands of dollars that they have taken from us. I am so pissed off about this.
BUT when you don't pay them for a month they sure go and cancel your coverage no question's asked. I am reporting them to the BBB and putting a complaint with the news outlets.
Auto insurance ripoff
- - Speeding ticket for 7 mph over.
- - Appealed the ticket; judge decision in December, I won.
- - Insurance removed the $289 surcharge.
why should you be stuffed if you get a ticket? Got a ticket for speeding 7 mph over,now why do they get to charge me surcharge for 6 years!!!!
Thats getting stuffed!!Iappealed a ticket i got in september.It came up in front of a judge in december.I won!!! But the insurance company started a surcharge in november . I guess they could"nt wait for a judges decision in december!!They eventully took the 289.00 charge off my insurance. My down payment for the year was much more .
It was hard to come up with additional monies they suck!!!

Safety Insurance Does not make any effort
- - They do not communicate with me.
- - I can't reach them or my agent.
- - I don't know the claim status or coverage.
- - I do not recommend Safety Insurance.
I have been trying to work with Safety Insurance on a loss claim. They DO NOT communicate with me.
I have called (was hung up on) emailed and contacted my agent who hasn't had much success. I strongly recommend not to deal with Safety Insurance. It's bad enough to have a loss but worse to have an Insurance Company that's just not there for you.
I don't know the status of the claim, whether or not they'll cover it, when they expect to do anything. It is absolutely the worst company I have ever delt with.

I am getting screwed similar to your situation, after my cancellation and Safety's confirmation of this cancellation of it, they hit my checking account saying in an email footnote that they used cloud services to use online transactions, when I was completely current with payments. They sent me Confirmation of my cancellation then hit my account.
Also they mentioned in that email if they get money out of my bank account within certain amount of time it will make my cancellation INEFFECTIVE. I LEFT MA and have a new insurance company in my new state.
They are ignoring it. I sent them notice and proof of it.
