- SafeStreets ADT failed at every touchpoint.
- Equipment and app are poor; installer inexperienced.
- After a year, $1,100 cancellation fee; no warning.
Avoid at all costs.
The equipment? Garbage. The app? Somehow worse.
And the installer they sent to my home was completely inexperienced, a fly-by-night setup that was done so poorly I had to go back and fix it myself. I paid for professional installation and got the opposite. I tolerated all of this for an entire year. A full year of subpar equipment, a broken app, and a system I had to partially fix myself.
And after a year of that, when I'm moving and decided I'd had enough and wanted to go a different direction, that's when they hit me with the real gut punch. A $1,100 cancellation fee. Out of nowhere. A contract that was NEVER mentioned, not when I signed up, not once during my entire year as a customer.
Nobody. Ever. Said. A word.
When I reached out for help or even basic understanding? Nothing. Zero empathy. Zero accountability.
Just a $1,100 bill and a shrug. I will never support ADT or any of its affiliates again. I will actively tell every single person I know to run the other direction the moment ADT comes up in conversation. This company does not deserve your money, your trust, or your time.
Do not do business with SafeStreets ADT. You have been warned.

We did marketing work for SafeStreets and delivered the product as requested by them. They are currently using what we produced for them but have refused to pay our invoice.
They originally spoke to our collections agency but have cut off all communication with them. Deadbeat company.

They have an employee that lies and they dont take the time to check the actual home, even with proof provided. Contracted by ADT. Do not trust either company.

Customer service was responsive to my concern and did their best to resolve my issue with the technician.
Phone connection never happened
- Doorbell non-functional for four months despite several technician visits.
- At 72, I rely on medication and grocery delivery and cannot continue.
4-months doorbell non-functional. Tech has been out 4-5 times.
When installed tech left not working & he was aware.

- I was initially drawn to buy, but since installation I have no stable Wi-Fi and wasn't told the Mbps needed for cameras and security devices.
Originally I was pleased the tech did well in tempting my interest to purchase products, but I have yet to have continuous use or connection to Wi-Fi since installing With no proper internet connection & the amount of Mbps needed for all the cameras & security devices to operate I wasn't told about this.

- Promised a $22/month Spectrum discount via government assistance that never happened.
- They placed me in collections and I plan to sue for fraud.
The contract with ADT has been cancelled but SafeStreets USA still expects me to buy out 75% the contract. I'm talking to an attorney about the misrepresentation of what they could provide and fraud.
They use government assistance to try to get a discount. I make too much money. Told them if they could not give me the promised reduced rate to come pick up their hardware as I am not interested. Lied to again, being told they are still working on getting me the discount.
Nothing has happened, and I put a hold on my credit card to stop payment. They sent me to collections.
Getting a lawyer to sue them for fraud. This company is a scam, just trying to lock you into a contract to take your money.

Very good help in reset my device . Very polite and helpful information to resolve my issue . I would recommend using the help desk for any questions and concerns you may have
Fraud charges

- Charged $800 to monitor CO and smoke alarms; service not available per complaint dept.
I have been trying to resolve and contact ADT/safe streets for over five months. It is the worst customer service ever.
They charge me $800 to monitor my carbon monoxide and smoke alarm. This was not true as I spoke with Teri Hucks who is with the complaint department this is a service that was not even available. I have been jumping through fire, hoops, and getting no responses from this terrible company.
I have contacted my credit card company and I would like to resolve this issue as soon as possible. The hole is still in the wall

I've waiting a refund from this company since January. I turn them in to the BBB twice there respond was they issue me a check on April 14 2021 gave a check number to the BBB.
I haven't seen a check yet. I going to my TV Station next.
I'm elderly and I want my 99.00 that was taken from me and no service was installed. I have someone else

I wish I would have seen this before signing with them. I agree with everything stated but I will not pay their fee to get out of the contract.
They are taking advantage of this widow. They will not even walk me through turning the system off. As soon as they found out I am a new widow they have done nothing but take advantage of me. the booklet does not help either.
I have read it cover to cover. I am thinking of destroying my wall to snip a few wires so it will not continue to tell me when one of my doors is open.
At least they didn't connect any of my windows into the system. It will be a very long 36 months...
