They will not help
1) Increased the price from $6287 to $14608 2 days before move (got this reduced to $10800), 2) didn't finish packing (both bathrooms & utility large cabinet), 3) didn't load upright freezer on truck, 4) were to supply 6 wardrobes for cloths (none, packed cloths in boxes & rapped pictures and other items in my cloths), 5) didn't clean up their mess at either end (packing supplies all over, left their pack blankets and pads on at the destination), 6) emptied truck but did not unpack ANYTHING but the couch & ran out the door, 7) had to rent 2 Uhauls ($500 plus 2 vehicles to tow them because of things left behind ( they decided on the size of the truck and their sales rep stated they would supply backup if needed), 9) they NEVER called back (always have had to contact them) & 10) the agreement stated cash or money order 1/2 upfront and 1/4 at pickup & 1/4 at drop off. Made us pay both 1/4s at pickup or they would charge $150 per hour wait time at the destination. It has been Very tense and frustrating trying to deal with them and too finally call back and be told there is NOTHING THEY WILL DO.

I just called to request a mover and did not get to even explain what all I needed moved. Next thing I know, the guy is saying look, Im not a personal mover so what are you even calling about.
And their site says thats EXACTLY what they do. So obviously I was confused and said maybe there is some confusion about what I requested and he goes dude Im not a damn personal mover and then hangs up on me. Called back and he goes geez you gotta stop calling this number and move on. Im nobodys personal worker ???
It was my SECOND time calling and be hung up because somehow it was rude to ask for a mover from a moving company. And after reading these reviews and seeing how many times they have scammed elderly people, Im glad they never got a chance to take advantage of me!

My original estimate of $3533.23 was increased to $8982.19 after I paid a deposit of $1276.03. I was not able to get my money back.
I am a senior citizen with limited income. This is consumer fraud at it's worst.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Lies, had to pay extra money to get them to finish loading
Lies lies lies and no furniture over 3 weeks waiting for our furniture to be delivered after they initialy said it would be there 2 days after pickup.
Every time we call them we get a different story.
Was held up for ransome after they had loaded 1/2 the truck and had to pay $3600 more!
Wont let me speak to a supervisor.
Filing a police report now to maybe get some action

DO NOT...I REPEAT...DO NOT use this company to ship ANYTHING!!! I paid over $100 to have them "professionally" pack a relatively fragile item for shipment by Fedex Ground.
Know what they did? They made a box. That's it. They shipped the item with virtually NO protective packing.
Subsequently the item was destroyed in shipping. When the package arrived, the box was in pristine condition. No sign of mis-handling by Fedex. We accepted the package only to discover that the contents were unprotected and that the item was in direct contact with the wall of the box on ALL four sides.
(Think a piece of cardboard placed on your forehead and someone hitting it with a hammer) The cardboard would look pretty good but your head not so much. Well the rigors of common carrier shipping and the impacts one would expect were transferred through the box directly into the acrylic construction of my item. It shattered like glass. I had no recourse with Fedex because they did not mis-handle the package.
This was the fault of SAFE-SHIP. So I decided to see if the "100% Satisfaction Guarantee" they tout on their website meant ANYTHING at all. So I called their help line. They told me right off the bat that they use double wall cardboard (ordinary corrugated cardboard) and that should have been enough and that there was nothing they could do.
They didn't even want to hear about it. Then, after telling me this, the manager tells me "I" am being rude when I expressed my discontent and he hung up on me. So there you have it...I lost a $450.00 item, am out over $200 more for the Fedex charges and I paid an additional $110 for the privilege of having my property destroyed by incompetent people that refuse to take responsibility for their negligence. So I now have $760 dollars worth of garbage.
These people are dishonest, untrustworthy and completely incompetent.
Steer clear of them at all costs...If you do, good luck, you're on your own. I will be taking legal action against them.
Safe ship mulberry grove the villages florida
I shipped a package on 10/17/17 morning. After paying, about to leave, I noticed they were putting my package in a used dirty box.
I complained and they did change to a new box, however they were angry and treated me badly. I will never use safe ship again. I have used this facility before and their prices are high with poor service. I recommend that you stay away from this place.

Safe Ship Customer Care Review
I recently visited your Port Orange Florida store and was told it was going to cost me $113 for a package going to Los Angeles. I noticed your measuring totally incorrectly.
She was very rude to all the customers present and I ended up going to the post office and ship in the same package for $18.95 to Los Angeles via priority mail. Getting it they're both faster and at one sixth the cost.

I would not recommend using this company to anyone. I used them to ship an item that would cost $10,000 to replace.
I purchased $10,000 worth of insurance from them to cover damage. It arrived with multiple damage points on the box that took impacts hard enough to break the cardboard box in several spots. I noticed damage to the item and reported it to them well within the window of time to report. Safe Ship was not professional or timely with handling the claim.
I had to keep calling back to try to get them to handle it. Finally 10 days after I initially reported it, I sent a strongly worded email to them wanting to know if they needed anything else from me and how the progress of the claim was coming, I got a response where they told me "How do we know you did not place this dent". So basically accusing ME of damaging the item myself!?!?
WOW...I can't think of a worse company policy than to accuse the customer of damaging a shipment that CLEARLY has been photographed as it came off the truck damaged WITH a witness there to see the damage. I would NEVER use this company for ANYTHING.
