The owner, Yogini Barbara Joy professes to be a peaceful and loving person but she is the complete opposite. She is extremely 2 faced and more of a snake oil salesman. As soon as she gets you under her clutches with all her BS earthy, loving and healing talk, get ready for slave labor. You will quickly become her servant who she will order around and mentally abuse you to your inner sole. If you have money, she will do and say everything she can to coerce you into giving her everything. Her entire Sacred Earth Retreat and Cultural Center is nothing but a facade to feed the control issues of a crazy old lady and trick others into taking care of and paying for her 20 horses that she is unable to support and care for herself. There is nothing sacred or retreat-like about Sacred Earth Retreat and Cultural Center or the owner, Yogini Barbara Joy.
