Dangerous situation
I am not sure how to contact the king's management, but my wife and I were celebrating our 45th anniversary with a game at Golden 1 yesterday the 8th, and as we were approaching the security checkpoint, a group of 35 to 40 teens on bikes came flying through the courtyard area! My wife who has back issues and had just had a doctors appoint that day, had to jump out of the way and stumbled.
The kid who missed her ran into a man in front of us and just said, Move! and rode off! We were able to gather up her bag and make it to the game on time but had to leave around the middle of the 3rd quarter because her back was in a lot of pain. I spoke with the security, and they said, there really wasnt anything that could be done with that group riding in the area, but it seems to me that there is a lot of liability when no signs are posted, or any attempt is made to stop this activity.
It may make sense to coordinate with the city to provide security and signage to protect the older people, children and fans who are just trying to enjoy a game. Our night ended up being a dud, although we listened to the Kings win on 1140am as we drove back to Chico.
Preferred solution: Address the safety issues affecting many fans
