Broken lug nuts
During the end of the summer, i had the rear brakes done on my GMC Jimmy 4x4. It was at a great price and it was done the same day.
In December, fiance went to Clay Township on an errand with my toddlers and one of the tires started vibrating really badly. She made it to my mothers house in town, and called a tow truck. The driver did a walk-around and found out the problem: ALL BUT ONE OF THE LUG NUTS SHEARED OFF!!!!!! It was towed to the local garages and all together it was $120.
I called S&K to get my money for the bill. I told them i never touched the tire or took the hub cover off at all. I didnt have reason to. They told me it was too long ago and they werent responsible.
I said yes you are and told them you better be glad my family wasnt on a highway and the wheel didnt fly causing a wreck killing them. You are the last people to *** the tire.
I called the owner and left a message and waiting for a call back. My family could be hurt or dead because the didnt want to take the time to put new studs in for the nuts.
