Dangerous electrical work associated with backup generator installation

I engaged Marc J. Ryder, a Certified Dealer, of RHI, Incorporated (Generac Factory Authorized) to install a whole house backup generator. Over and above constant promises of install dates, the actual installation occurred in multiple steps and took at least twice as long as initially indicated. After the install, I had a bad feeling about the electrical work provided when the backup generator was installed. As a result of my bad feeling, I asked my electrician to take a look at the work. When there were burn marks on the panel, he was almost afraid to remove the panel cover. Grounding wires were severed and live wires that split were held in place with tape. Everything was crammed into the panel. I have pictures of the system/panel as left by Marc J. Ryder and after my electrician made the system safe.

I worry about two things in my house, damage from a roof leak and electrical fires. If I hadn't got a second set of eyes on my electric panel, I could have been shocked the next time I went to flip a breaker. Or worse, a fire could have broken out destroying my house, damaging my business and potentially killing my dog.

In order to make the electrical safe, I spent $520 with the electrician and $153 with AEP for the disconnect/reconnect fee for a total of $673. When I reported this info to Marc on October 6, 2015, he said he would pay me. Every month I check with him and he responds with unkept promises.
