2004 Monte Carlo Sun Roof
I bought the car in August 2011 with 4,034 miles from Rydell Chevrolet. Rydell gave me a 1yr warranty anything goes wrong! The first month the sun roof would hesitate opening when operating the switch. Service fixed the problem by RELEARNING the COMPUTER, everything worked ok until next month. Same thing again, and again a month or so later. the following year again the same problem occurred, but the hesitation got worse, having to operate the switch several times to move the window open 7 close. Over time its been in to service about 7 times, and 9/23/15 was the worst. they said it needed RELEARNING AGAIN, but this time they charged me $65. I asked them what is going on with the sun roof, their answer, ("I don't know, and we can't keep repairing it for free!) I do not run the car that much @ 7,000 miles a year. The service manager told me they don't keep records over 1 year and have no records of service from 2011 to date on the sun roof!!! My salesman remembers me returning several times for the roof problem! Please advise the answer to resolve this problem. I know well I will be needing to RELEARNING THE COMPUTER again very soon!
