DO NOT BUY FROM RYAN HOMES

THEY DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO DETAILS WHEN BUILDING THERE HOMES. THEY ARE MORE WORRIED ABOUT HOW MANY HOUSES THEY CAN PUT UP INSTEAD OF THE QUALITY OF THE HOMES AND THEY DON'T GIVE TWO CENTS ABOUT THE COMPLAINTS THEY RECIEVE THEY DON'T EVEN FOLLOW UP OR RESPOND. WINDOWS ARE NOT ENERGY SAVERS AS STATED, MIX MATCH SCREWS IN VENTS, CARPET LIFFTING UP. CABINET HINGES TO CLOSE THE EDGE, CABINETS NOT LEVEL, THEY LEFT THE CARDBOARD FROM THE OVEN BEHIND THE OVEN WHICH WAS A FIRE SAFETY ISSUE, THIRD BEDROOM DOOR DON'T CLOSE TIGHTLY, OUTSIDE SHUTTER FELL DOWN WHICH COULD OF BEEN A DANGEROUS OUTCOME

Ryan Homes in Tuckahoe, Virginia - Faulty HVAC INSTALLATION

1.3
Details
The HVAC unit Ryan Homes installed in my home has been faulty since the first year my family moved in. I have had it serviced several times (Patch Work) and continue to have issues now in year five. I have just received notice from heating and cooling professionals that the control box attached to my home beside the unit has melted inside (potential fire Hazzard) and that this unit was not designed nor installed properly for the size of my home. This is a significant warranty issue that I have continuously fought with the supporting warranty agents assigned to us during the time of purchase.

Ryan homes poor electrical work

While getting one of our double ovens fixed the GE repairmen found an electrical box behind our appliance with exposed wires and no cover installed. There is evidence of electrical sparking. Our home could have burned down and worse a possible loss of life. We have been trying to get Ryan rep for two days without any response. Never buy a Ryan home!!! This is in addition to fixing nail pops for the entire 9 years we have been in the home, very shoddy sheet rock installation, and subflooring in multiple rooms that had to be repaired. Very little carpentry work is plumb or level and just about every door had to be reworked. Never buy a Ryan home!!!
