Ryan Homes in Middletown, Ohio - Issue not resolved

1.0
Details
I posted my disappointment with pissedconsumer.com and the issue is still not resolved..We purchased a home built by Ryan Homes that still will not grow grass and provide our home with a viable yard...We have made formal request with Ryan Homes to come and look at our yard and informed them that several homes located at The Woodlands of Morrow here in Ohio ..Sean Bullock of Ryan Homes was the latest representative from Ryan Homes that have failed to assist us with an issue that we should not have purchasing a newly built home ...They have completely made us unhappy with the lack of service and others here at the Woodlands of Morrow are disgusted and frustrated...

I have to disagree. Ryan was great during that warranty year in sending back the same incompetent people who did a poor job the first time around. It's after that year when you continue to have fallen shingles and loose siding that you feel that you were Hoodwinked!

Ryan Homes in Tuckahoe, Virginia - Faulty HVAC INSTALLATION

1.3
Details
The HVAC unit Ryan Homes installed in my home has been faulty since the first year my family moved in. I have had it serviced several times (Patch Work) and continue to have issues now in year five. I have just received notice from heating and cooling professionals that the control box attached to my home beside the unit has melted inside (potential fire Hazzard) and that this unit was not designed nor installed properly for the size of my home. This is a significant warranty issue that I have continuously fought with the supporting warranty agents assigned to us during the time of purchase.

Yep, trust those instincts. I'm in a townhome in Cabin Branch.

It's a nightmare and now they are ignoring my calls. My one year was about 2 weeks ago and I started trying to get all the warranty issues reported back in May.

So far they've fixed one item out of about 4 dozen. Fixing everything will easily set me back $30,000.

We built in 2006 and this is what our contractor found when he was replacing our sunken in steps and porch because they built it wrong. Most of my neighborhood is having issues with theirs. They didn’t put any moisture barrier between the siding and the wall board! Of...

I bought a brand new Ryan home and had nothing but problems in the four years that I had owned the home. These needed repairs were costing me out of pocket expenses which shouldn't be the case on a brand new home.

Overlooking the sloopy workmanship. I will only list the items that needed immediate attention. The GE refrigerator and dishwasher, supposedly brand new needed to be replaced. The HVAC system broke down 7 times during those 4 years.

The roof shingles blew off the roof on windy days. That occurred from day one under the one year warranty. After that one year I was forced to call roofers several times. Siding came off of the house.

The front door bell shorted out. The garage door keypad failed. The basement had four leaks from cracks that developed in the cement wall. The garage also had a leak as that short cement wall cracked.

The irrigation system had 6 heads fail during those 4 years.

When the HVAC system was working it was never adequate enough regarding heating the home. The AC was OK although undersized for that size home.

I bought a brand new Ryan home and sold it after 4 years. The home was almost 24 hundred square feet.

They installed a 3 ton AC unit and a 60 thousand BTU furnace. Both of which were inadequate to properly heat or cool that home.

Home buyers need to understand that Ryan Homes as well as other large builders can supply the most square footage and bang for the buck. They do this by being power buyers on materials and with the labor as well. They will tell the sub-contractor that they will give...

The mistake that you make on your assessment of Ryan homes and their poor quality as giving the home buyer the biggest bang for his buck is incorrect. Did you ever stop and think that Ryan is out to give their stockholders the biggest bang for their buck at the expense of the home buyers.

In 2012, NVR/Ryan stock was $700 dollars per share.

It closed on Friday, July 12, 2019 at $ 3849.63 per share! That is the reason that they purchase all of the materials and labor, both substandard and it's not for giving the home buyer anything but rather fleecing him on a brand new handyman special.
