Contact the owner who is not active now

Dear sir,

I would like to have a contact with Jack, but he is not active now.

I find out seller of the same type of the car in Reno, NV.

So I would like to consult with Jack regarding Recon Camper before purchase.

If possible, let him to know my contact information and contact with me.

I appreciate if he allow the show his car on site.

I am living at Belleville, so very close to him at Ypsilanti.

Thank you.

Rental problems

RV Share has been a great site to use. I am currently in contact with the claims adjuster and attempting to resolve the problem that I have.

I will happily use this site again. Now I know that in the future I will need to photograph and catalog the rental when I get it and not rely on the owner to do it.

Switch drivers on reservation

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Rvshares customer service not because of their agent but because they are not give tools by RVshare to actually help their customers. There were no tools to simple help change name of driver, EVERYchange require spending MORE MONEY.

This is not customer service !!!

we will never use Rvshare again or recommend them. We will even go further and warn all our friend not to use them.

They would of course allow you to add a driver at a cost but not do the exact same process to simply switch drivers, 100% about getting more money

Confirmed and Paid reservation 7/19/24 one hour drive on a Friday to pickup and goHomePort cancels saying the unit is now not available!!! Hours on the phone with off-shore agents who speak english but don't really speak english.

TERRIBLE COMPANY!

Wrecked a weekend for me! Camped in the rain - do not use this company ever!

Cancellation

Unfortunately, in the event of a death in the family, you are *** No refunds within 14 days of the start of the rental. As such, the owner and RV share gets free money and the consumer gets screwed. I am done using RV Share.

I went through your cancellation process on your site on July 5th & received an email on July 6 th of the cancellation, & how you were going to keep half of the money you already got which is BS , couldnt cancel on the 4th, then I keep getting emails for second payment, so I called on 7/10 & talked to some who informed me it wasnt cancel even though I had the email from rv share of the canceled reservation, then he came back & said he saw the cancellation on the 5th of July & wanted to know if he could go ahead & cancel it now , I told him yes , Ive never with such *** business as I did today & I will never deal with rv share again & will post & tell everyone how *** rv share is Wtf

Do not utilize RVShare's services because they do not vet their RV owners and the probability of getting an RV that has issues is high.

RV Rental Date Inquiry: August 2019

RV Rental Dates: October 31, 2019 – November 12, 2019

Rental Cost: $2800

The following is my experience with renting an RV utilizing the RVShare website. I rented an RV class C from Clair Schroeder from Elbert, CO.

I submitted an RVShare Dispute Form and received feedback from RVShare that they would not pursue my inquiry and statements explaining all the issues with the RV I rented from one of their owners on their website.

These are the facts and encourage you to make your own conclusion.

Due to funds already spent (Approximately $2500) for events in TX and AZ with no refund and less than a day to find another RV as well as another snowstorm in the near future I had no options but to use their RV.

All damage and issues with this RV were prior to using the RV for my paid timeframe

I contacted owners Claire & Steve from Elbert, CO to inquire about renting their 2017 RV in August 2019.

At that time, the owner did not inform me that their RV’s leveling system was broken or that their windows by the two bunk beds were broken and required duct tape on the outside of their RV. During the period from August 2019 – October 2019 the owners never mentioned the above issues were ongoing. The owners stated that when they arrived at their mechanics on the day they were delivering the RV to my house they did not know the leveling system was still broken and the windows still inoperable. The oddest of this statement is that the owners did not call their mechanic during the time it was supposed to be fixed knowing that they were expected to provide me the RV in good operational order.

The owners failed again to call me prior to delivering their RV of the continuing problem until it was delivered.

They delivered their RV during darkness and 20 degrees, which made inspecting their RV more difficult. The next morning, I inspected the RV again because at this point I did not trust the owners because they withheld information prior. If I would have been aware of the issues with the owner’s RV I would not have rented their RV. I suspect the owners deliberately excluded the issues with their RV because they knew no one would rent it.

During my inspection I noticed the following.

a.

Both front tire were bald and unsafe to drive their RV from Colorado to Texas, Texas to AZ, and AZ back to Colorado Springs, CO. The owners did pay to install to new tires on Tuesday (Pictures included) but failed to mention the condition of the RV tires. It would seem reasonable that the owners should have known their RV front tires were not safe to drive their RV thousands of miles. I believe if I would have not conducted a complete inspection of the RV I would have driven the RV and more than likely had issues that could result in injuries if a tire blew out at 65-70 miles per hour.

b.Two broken windows on the outside of the RV bunkbeds (Pictures included).

c.The RV generator had zero oil and on a regular basis continued to shut off, which is a protection of the generator engine.

I purchased three quarts of oil for the generator at about 11:30 pm which cost me $22 for the oil and $60 for a ride because we were already parked on the infield of the Texas Motor Raceway with no vehicle to travel outside in the local town.

d.Damage to bottom left & right rear of RV (Damage was on departure form).

e.A cabinet door had a four-inch crack (Pictures included).

f.AC unit did not work in AZ, with the average temperature was 85 degrees and 92 degrees in the RV (picture included). This was a major issue would took away the enjoyment of the RV as well as four days at an event.

g.The RV battery would not hold a charge. The battery was checked and had several battery cells dead.

The generator had to be used throughout the trip because the battery was useless. This issue took away from the enjoyment of the RV.

h.The RV leveling system was broken on delivery.

i.Scratch mark on the kitchen sink door.

j.Damage on wood trim between the bunkbeds and master bedroom (Picture included).

k.Both RV seats had above average wear & tear (Pictures included).

l.Refrigerator & microwave dirty (Pictures included).

m.Wood trim on top bunkbed worn out (Pictures included).

n.Broken vents on the inside of the RV AC unit (Pictures included).

o.Showerhead holder broken (Picture included).

p.Master bedroom shade damaged.
