- - Out-of-state sight-unseen purchase; seller lied.
- - Delivery showed water damage, mold, broken shower, missing oven part; TV and shower not working.
Let's begin with the fact that I was an out of state buyer (first mistake) buying sight unseen and had to lean on the salesperson/dealership to be my eyes. I got nothing but lies from the beginning. According to the salesperson there was absolutely nothing wrong with the Keystone Premier- all looked great other than some trim that needed some adhesive. I have saved all correspondence telling me these exact things.
I received this trailer with a water damaged floor, a completely destroyed shower insert, silicone smeared everywhere except where it should be, oven missing a *** and the the igniter not working on the oven, no TV, outside shower not working, bald tires requiring replacement immediately, and a mold ridden exterior canopy that won't clean up. None of these were disclosed verbally or in any documentation.
I was told they would fill both propane tanks (I received 3 gallons in each rather than 5). And to add to that, both propane tanks are dated 2011 (illegal in most states to refill) and the trailer is a 2018. I did get a new battery but, of course, it was the smallest possible.
The trailer was absolutely filthy when delivered. We found old dirty socks, a can of tuna, parts that who knows where they go, and other small items in cabinets. No cleaning was completed whatsoever. Access panels where removed and not reinstalled- just left laying on the floor.
This dealer is an absolute joke and not to mention, thieves. I guess they saw an opportunity to make a little extra money from an out of state buyer and did none of the things that should have been completed before delivery. I should have sued but it wasn't worth the trouble.
STAY COMPLETELY AWAY from RV One in Altoona, Iowa. Unethical only begins to describe this dealer.

bought new on august 10 2017 so we got two dealer rv one in des moines iowa the said generator won't run october 7 still can't get it two run the slide went in and out at 6 in difference cabinets wood is chipped on 3 of them two blinds don't work won't go up kitchen sink leaks water back in toy hauler the table was broke up left it there top bunk has a tear in it back ramp aluminum patio broke on bottom put the big problem is the axle under camper is off 2 in from one side two other jayco called us said put wrong suspension under camper that was sept 1 have not hurd back from them brought camper over to all state peterbilt work on axle they asked way underbelly has got so many knife cut in it now its fallen down over back axle type in john vosberg on youtub can watch video

Long story short, water heater broke and jack broke under warranty (only took like 3 month to get new ones), got approved for new one's plus labor and now every reason under the sun the cant cut the check even though i paid it out up front in cash. Danielle from Des Moines RV One does not know what she is doing all she does is change her story just to get you off of the phone.

This place was incredible. I thought the price was too good to be true, but it wasn't.
I kept waiting for the small print to take over and the deal to be not what it seemed, it never did. They did not skimp on their customer service either. My experience was just awesome. I did have a problem with our brand new trailer on the way home, actually lost a wheel.
I contacted RV One and they helped me the whole way through the process. I even reached out to and had a personal call from Mark S.
to make sure it was taken care of. These people make RV ownership affordable for the masses, thank you RV One.

- - Opened 2 service tickets; a month later they said local service was needed.
2015 Roodwood 8244WS from RV Direct/RV One (picked in up in Des Moines IA location) only $300 less than the local dealer. Not a great set-up walk through messed the fact that it blows a fuse everything you retract the slide out and they cinched the chairs together too tight ruining the backs.
Opened 2 services tickets on the spot and they finally called a month later and said the unit needed to be looked at locally so they could submit the claim to Forest River for approval. Since we live in WI they said to bring to a local dealer for service. No one here will work on it until this winter since we didn't buy it from them.
Get your quotes from them then buy local!!! Know they will NEVER service anything you get from them!

Obviously written by an employee - most do not have a good experience at this dealership - good prices but their customer service is worse than nothing. Get you repairs/parts/service somewhere else.
